😊 I'm having this problem with the wife's Kia driver's door. Someone sideswiped her a little bit in the door's been off since. So thankful for this video.😊
Good job on the video. The sound was good and words were kept to a minimum with appropriate editing.
Nice cinematics!
Had a toyota celica and the front passenger door would fly open when making a left turn, and the driver's door would fly open when making a right turn. Mechanic wanted to replace the door hinges, and paint them so that they matched the color of the car. After he installed them, had the SAME PROBLEM. Turned out it was a tiny plastic clip missing in each of the doors, which you can buy from Toyota for a few dollars.
I had to replace the pins and bushings on an '86 El Camino. Once that top hinge pin is out, the door is top-heavy and unstable. I had hoped you'd show a fool-proof way to support and stabilize a semi-detached door. Any advice before I tackle the passenger door?
Great video as always
Try showing how to align them new hinges...
Notice my doors don't have the spring attached. How may I reinstall these?.
My door hinges the holes are oval-ed out, meaning they have been enlarge via wear. Problem is the hinges are welded on. So how in the freak do I fix this. I bought the truck used, it has a new motor and transmission, so want to keep it. Its a 1994 Suburban.
Great vid , thanks for the help
Wow you didn't show the small bolt that goes through the frame to the left of the brake pedal. Lol 😮
I had to remove the emergency brake assembly to get to the smaller of the three bolts.
It was a total hassle !!!

I have a 2011 Ford super cruise 4 by 4? Where did 6 gallons oil go out of my track Pam? Give me an answer.
Should do a video on a 2012 Hyundai Elantra GLS 4 Door drivers side car door won't stay open even without gusty winds
I hope it’s all in the hinges and not any of the abuse my XJ took before I purchased it
nope didn't help a bit noting about how to adjust the door
Guys, just move the seatbelt buckle out of the door jamb.
This doesn't work if you have hinges that are glued on. I have had two vehicles with that.
Isn’t this the guy from trq?
My door has started making a click or pop sound when it is opening or shutting. Drives me crazy. And my airbag/horn button started speaking when I'm driving. Idk what to do to fix either issue. But they are very annoying because I love my car but some things I can't deal with. I'm ready to drive it into a ditch and get a new car over the speaking and I'm not joking. 😅
Looks like imma have to replace everything on my door lol.
Who would change this out if I cannot do it? The dealership or whom?
