Great chemistry with the owner, super knowledgeable and it's neat to see Joey bounce off him with information of his own. Hope to see more of this location!
Glad to see my favorite fish store in NS getting some recognition. The owner truly is the nicest and most helpful person I've encountered in the aquarium hobby.
this is my go to store in nova scotia! ive been dealing with paul for years and hes always been nothing but amazing for when it comes to do with anything in the hobby
I love that Joey is still just a regular fish keeper at heart. 8:24 we've all done this. "I can fit a couple more fish, it might be more wasteful to not get them"
I didn’t know discus also came in blue! I love blue and purple fish, my favourite colours. I love the look of the bright orange and white discus too though, pretty!
Such a beautiful fish store! I'm so excited to see the babies! The store owner knows they will be going to an excellent home so it made it easier on him to let them go. I bet he is excited to see how you do as well.
Those green spotted are stunning. I have 6 of these, they are only a couple of inches at the moment, I have them in brackish water now they are growing. Amazing character fish! Love these shopping trips you guys do!
Hi Joey the discuss look amazing. Joey maybe one day you do a video on apisto from setting up a tank to all the way till they breed. I’m getting into apisto now.
I have a heavily planted 50 gallon breeder with 20 pea puffers and love them one of my favorite tanks I've ever kept fishing neatest little fish I've ever had by far one of my favorites
they are indeed amazing, how do you maintain aggression or do they just do better in large groups. I only have 3 females in a 40 gallon so I wouldn’t know.
Ooh they had serpae tetras!! You should of gotten those for the pirhana ... they really are like little pirhana! Those black corydoras are a must have!! They would be great in a tank with black neon tetras and black lace angel fish and a pair of black ram cichlids...maybe some black phantom tetras...
Such a quick description of the sexes, but it sticks! We here in UK have had a spate of new Cory's. Including black Venezuelan, brochis, and that red and blue one!)
Brilliant mate I've been watching for a few episodes and copied one of your aquarium stand builds I've also just set up a cichlid tank that's in my last video it's a great channel buddy thanks for sharing and happy fish keeping all the best martyn 👍
My daughter and I had a green spotted puffer. We were gifted it 4 years ago, and it lived for another 5 years. We named it potato because it was the size of a small potato. We kept it in brackish water.
Hey! Was wondering about the public aquarium, i'm not caught up on what happened to that project and would love some info on that, was a really exciting project!
Its possible u buy a breeding pair and they are no longer compatible With 6 or 8 juvies..u have a plan b. U can mix n match. Have extra fish if one or two die. Eventually sell the rest to recover ur money. There are pros to that approach. Only con is the time needed.
Hi joey I hope you get to see my comment I’m about to build a stand for my 125 saltwater tank any tips for me And measurements I see all of your diy stands but not 100% sure if I make the stand bigger or same size as the tank
If you get that "proven breeding pair," I just hope you get them with the long-run in mind. Those fish are gorgeous and I'd hate to see you toss 'em after about 3 months.
Today Joey posted a fish shopping video and today I also went shopping for a new fish and impulsively bought a tiger Oscar 😂😂😂 learning from the best there is.
im not sure. I personally do it because i like to see the water rippling instead of it hidden behind the trim. I enjoy it slightly more as it adds a bit more of an aquatic feel for me.. I also can see feedings from 3 angles. Below, level to surface and above. However, its also a clear indication that the equipment is working at first glance. This is all personal preference though.
@@thekingofdiy I get it. It just bothers my ocd. I’m a huge fan of surface agitation myself. I either have an air pump pushing bubbles through a stone or some sort of remote filtration aimed at the surface to increase movement. I just like my tanks waterline above the frame. 🙂
I love that joey still tries to discourage viewers from keeping discus even though it's his main pull for views in this video 🤣 king of deception more like!

He did a great job raising up that cobalt blue pair! Gorgeous animals!
Store looks awesome. A lot of planted holding tanks. Shows the owner knows what he is doing, and sets buyers off with a better starting idea.

I rarely ever see anyone so passionate about the fish hobby and i have been following for a while. This is much appreciated and eye opening. I
love this video. the showcase of the store and different tanks, interaction with the staff/owner, great to support the LFS!
Much Respect Joey ! appreciate your passion for our hobby 💯👏👏 What a beautiful selection of fish & Great store all around 🐠🐚⭐️👍.

Joey have you ever thought about getting geophagus? They are super cool get quite large and beautiful colours
Yeah, they’ve got amazing personality. I’ve got a pair of red headed tapajos and they get really nice colours. Quite an underrated fish in the hobby.
I know absolutely nothing about this breed of fish but those are a beautiful pair thank you so much for sharing this with us. Happy fish keeping
Thanks for the video.....great to breading again
Amazing soundtrack....great video✌️🤘👍
Lol.. the never-open fish store well at least when I went there they were always closed last year... good renovation I see there.
Such a quick description of the sexes, but it sticks!

I’m surprised you didn’t get the pea puffers Joey they are the best nano fish imo
Or at least show you getting them ;)
It's awesome to hear Joey say he's never seen a fish that I have lol. Especially one of my favorite types of Corydoras!
I absolutely love pufferfish! Got a porcupine puffer in my mixed reef and he does more cleaning then my tang does lol
i love that you are gonna do "Natural" breeding on discus , i done it and it is just amazing :)
I wish I had a aquarium store with that much selection where I live
Always fun & informative 👌✨

Lovely discus.
Hi sir.
What type of adhesive (glue) u used for the large aquarium.
Please
Hi sir. Your my idol. I try to copy all your DIY. 😁 SHOUTOUT from the PHILIPPINES. Keep it up sir. 💪
Hey! Was wondering about the public aquarium, i'm not caught up on what happened to that project and would love some info on that, was a really exciting project!
there’s a video about it.. unfortunately all the plans fell through due to bad management (not on joeys part) 🙃
Yea was very bad he was demoralized justifiably, but he's gotten his joy back
i noticed you have improved editing.. judging from the intro
Those Leopard Puffers would go great with the Archer/Scat tank 😍
My God, those are beautiful!
Looks amazing

Joey ya gotta get yourself a wireless lav mic for this. Can hardly hear you when you turn you back to camera.
Hey Joey
Would you ever think about going into the aquatic trade. Opening your own store etc... selling. Bet you would be good owner
My favorite fish store in Nova Scotia
I’m here watching
I was always in the grow out category. Then I got into red severums and saw some big super reds. Yeah. So now it depends on the species and my goals.
Приятно релаксировать под глухие раскаты артиллерии))
i like the smaller stores, its more personal and fish focused
looks like a nice store!
Omg the puffers!
Nova Scotia aquariums are soon going to have a sign that says 'visited by the king of DIY' so they've got to be interested
You can also put tiger barbs with the piranhas
How are the Koi doing in the pond?
Discus! 🥳
Unfortunately my local fish shop in Charlottetown closed .
99% sure these are Stendker Discus... Good Choice..
So joey have definitely brought the others as well 🤣
Have you ever done angel breeding?
If you get that "proven breeding pair," I just hope you get them with the long-run in mind. Those fish are gorgeous and I'd hate to see you toss 'em after about 3 months.

The more current in your tanks the tighter your tetra's will school!
U best bro
Love this guy he the man
You should do a tank with Hoplarchus psittacus.
1:35 dead betta ?
When Joey is talking about growing a pair or buying one :D
Look at that kid having a time of his life.
Do You Know Anything About Firetails?
Damn 3000 views in 29 mins, fish daddy doing good for himself 🤣
on of the discus appeared to have ick on its fin
"44$ is pretty cheap" you know what else is pretty cheap? Giving me 44$ 😃
Cool video
this store is where i bought my catfish
I bought my cat there
Is leaving the tanks 90% filled a Canadian thing? I'd never seen it till I started following this channel.
Water evaporates quicker in Canada... and it sucks ;) but I like leaving extra space for my guys to jump before they hit the ceiling lol

In my opinion there 3 fish stores in ns and this one and 1 fish 2 fish are by far the best around
Freedom Fish!
They look like Avatar fish. For real for real.
Nine minutes is not a long enough fix for me! 😂
I've been wanting to go there
Dear, Joey I need your help ..how to contact with you?
U r legend bro
Will breed with other colors
By the way you gave him some advertising lol I may think you got em ..
