I accidentally stumbled onto your page last week and watched your interview with the mole (NK documentary). I like your content. Keep up the good work!

This is super informative. The entire nature v. nurture debate concentrated into 90 minutes. One thing is clear, the human condition is funny, frightening and simply complex. Another entertaining podcast.

Tells you a lot about the host who's kid doesn't want to share with him or a prominent conservative caster who's own dog hates him lol

I propose that women are the engineers of society. Across cultures, women cook to bring people together.

Except it’s not a service that is honored in patriarchal culture. Cooking IS a great contribution-but if it’s not appreciated and respected--it’s just slavery.

Jordan, you said something to the effect of how could a parent loose interest in their kids and you said I would never do that, I’m not saying or suggestion that you will, but on the other hand give yourself another twenty years and get back to me!

The "dark" fear goes back to our fish ancestors. 90% of your abi!ities are genetic. The 10% are not nurture. Psychologism, like all social constructs, is fascinating. It also holds very limited truths in it's current shape.

Women want to know if you can provide a lifestyle for them. That’s it. This guy has to put the Cosmo Magazine down. Neophobia food? If you didn’t eat Moms food, you went to bed hungry, give them some work to do around the house, they get hungrier.

Interesting discussion. I’m a mother living through the terror of having a testosterone driven 21 year old male child at the moment. Most of the time, I tell him not to tell me what he’s doing. My heart can’t bear it.

Androcentric evolutionary theory again...throwing as hunting, man the hunter...no. We were scavenger-gatherers. "Throwing" is a learned skill, not evolutionarily adapted. The Kalahari Kung people, the oldest hunter-gatherers on earth, only hunt two or three months of the year and rest and recreate the rest of the time. They are not 'living on the edge all the time.' Also, why are chimps 'wildly unequal' if they are allegedly also 'living on the edge' when allegedly that's the reason Bill says we 'share.' "Status jockeying" is also more of a social delusion as Rousseau showed. It isn't evolutionary adapted, only a epiphenomenon of 'civilized' (city) living.

Good points! Attribution error is RAMPANT in evo psych. Hope he interviews the woman who wrote BITCH -someone finally calling out the erroneous, motivated reasoning errors that haven’t yet moved because of institutional inertia/long held bias.

Today's males and females of Gen Y-Z (they are not Men and Women) don't know anything, nor do they have anything of value; you simply give these U.I.'s way too much credit.
