- OLD SCHOOL PEACH COBBLER
A real OLD SCHOOL stable dessert of any occasion
It's so yummy anytime of the year
You can use fresh ,frozen or canned peaches
I prefer fresh
Recipe
6-8 peaches ( sliced)
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
24 oz pineapple juice or nectar
6 oz butter
1 tablespoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 oz cornstarch ( slurry)
Combine all ingredients ( except cornstarch)in pot and bring to a boil
Add cornstarch and let thicken
Simmer for 5 minutes
Remove from stove and pour in baking dish with pie shell
Top with pie shell
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar
Cook in 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown
ENJOY!!!

Hey Chef Jeffrey! I know what your talkin about when it comes to them fly's. When I came to Texas last year this time to visit my son and family they were bad. I remember my sons wife made up some kind of concoction with vinegar and dish soap in a bowl and they were attracted to it. They would fly into the bowl and end up drowning. So much for the flies!!! The peach cobbler was the star of the show!!!!! It looked so good!! I'm not a fan of ice cream either. Love the crust and juice. The ice cream takes away the flavor of the juice when it melts into it!!!! The crust then gets soggy!!! You have a good day tomorrow!! Be blessed. Agreed. I thought the Zevo was just hype till I tried one. It trapped every fly, especially if you turn all kitchen lights off at night and leave the zevo plugged in - it has a glowing blue light that attracts them to the sticky trap inside.

I have a friend who is a member of Sam's club and has transportation. I will give her some money to get me them peaches 🍑!!!! Pray that a Costco will come here! My son is from Texas and he is a pharmacist at a Costco and I loved it. Reminds me of Sam's club.
