I wish train sims were affordable and actually had some love and effort put into them. I genuinely despise tsw5 because as a gen 8 console player i got legitimately scammed by Dovetail games. Also in regards to the milton kenes sign, its missing its LNWR branding due to copyright issues.
The game just isn’t built for Gen 8 in mind anymore and also it’s been 11 years. You shouldn’t expect all games to cater specifically toward gen 8 anymore it’s just not powerful enough unfortunately.
@oParkLikesStuff even ignoring the fact that this game uses the exact same engine & code as TSW2, I'll accept the fact that gen 8 is too weak for TSW5. My problem comes from literal false advertising. The WCML south was advertised with FULL FEATURES, yet despite that, not only was the product sold despite being unplayable, it was also MISSING features. I checked the PSN store for any information about cut features and even DTG forums ONLY to find out that they "said it in a stream". This is by all definition a false marketing scam and was 100% lawsuit worthy.
I assume the west coast mainline sign thing is all left over from the branding stuff before release but you would assume dovetail would have dealt with it by now lmaaoo 😭 this video was really funny tho lmfao its quite enjoyable to see someone just take the piss out of TSW (also the suitcase thing was dumb af, but as with all dtg things was probably thought about for a good 2 picoseconds to get you to play for longer so you cant refund or smth)
