Yeah, so the instruments aren't live, however the band have talked about this before, and because until Eurovision they were predominantly a band that only plays everything live, they played the instruments on stage at Eurovision as though they WERE live, even though the audio of them doing so wasn't being piped through to the audience or broadcast. So yes, he was still playing that keytar. :)
I just saw Voyager live last night, it was a really fantastic show they brought that charisma to the show even when it was a pretty small venue, joking around with the crowd. Keytar was played live, just a really fun show altogether. The opener for them was Future Static, who were also fantastic and I think you would enjoy. I think Venenosa and Waves feature the lead singer who was on last night.
From Finland, VOYAGER ROCKS. And I do think Electric Callboy needs to be on Eurovision but also, Promise is such a good song and it did well but also, I think it should have done even more well!
Late to seeing this but I hope you've followed the Voyager rabbit hole and picked up the new record. Honestly one of my favourite bands now since discovering them on the last album. Some incredible artists in Australia and it's about time they had international recognition. We had 20 votes available and we used 11 for Voyager in the final. They won the semi final they were in too. Epic band and they seem like amazing humans too.

meaning the live audience heard a different melody !?
@@Xplorer558 No. The instruments don't project any sound to the speakers.
9th place is a great result!!! They did Australia proud!!!
Best Eurovision song EVER imo!

Remember they need to present something Eurovision will accept, this was as much as they could do

Totally the winner of 2023 for me and one of the, if not THE, greatest Eurovision song I have heard (and I have listened through them all)
I never saw this one before and that most likely was the main problem.... It as great
Please watch Finland's and Germany's entry as well :))
🤩
In 2018, there also was some breakdown on Eurovision. You should check Hungary's entry, AWS - Viszlát nyár

The instrumental isn't live. The vocals are though.
But they are that good. They can all definitively play their instruments
Unless you're Alexander Rybak. Then your instrumental is accidentally live through the microphone
Sorry boys- only vocals are live, and rules have been updated to allow some pre-recorded backing vocals as well.
Hiiii Tim! 🖤🤘🏻
They'd *like* to play the instruments live, and they are that good, but actual live instruments are against the rules. Errgghhh.
I'd say Lordi was more hard rock than metal
Thats because.. "Hard Rock Hallelujah" 😎
The Fact that this Song only made 9th Place is perfetic by far the best one of this shitshow
if they ever do european tour I wuold be there on finland leg if its possible
Only the vocalist are live, the other instruments are on tracks...i think it's because there's only like 45 seconds between each stage and set change.
