As a German Metalhead i was so happy for Lord of the Lost and then Australia came with this :) Seen them last Year - so happy to see Progmetal at the ESC
I friggin' love this song! In this godawful year 2023 I really needed a bunch of Australians telling me it's gonna be alright and blasting some glam rock!
You guys are so entertaining and this is one of the best reactions to this song I have seen. Thank you so much for being some of the most viewable guys on youtube. Glad you loved this song. Guitar solo and keytar solo rock and so do you guys! This band has been around for over 20 years and have several albums - get into their music, you won't regret it.
Hahahaha I knew it! When I recommended this video to you, I knew that this guitar solo was going to remove you from your chairs. Great Australian song. It's in my top 2. Warm greetings from Spain 🤟🏼
Brilliant reaction.. filmed in the northwest of West Australia my home state.. not a beach, a pink salt lake.. and natures window was the rock formation.. great reaction.. they have been doing their thing for a while now.. they will win from your reaction.
Not gonna lie, I laughed so hard at your commentary. We seem to share the same type of humour 😂. The synth guitar is called a keytar and my 12 points will go to Australia. If you want to react to some more Australian Metal I can recommend the band Freedom Of Fear with the song Carpathia. It's a fair bit darker than this but it's my personal discovery of the year.
OMG I love you guys. That reaction was brilliant. Where are you from because I love your humour. I think you would actually hit it off with Voyager because they like to put a bit of humour into their stuff as well. They have been big fans of Eurovision and have tried a few times to represent us. At our national final last year they actually came 2nd (and were first in the public vote) so even though this year ended up being an internal selection, I'm pretty sure most Aussie Eurovision fans were thrilled with the choice. They are probably best known either within the progressive metal, or Eurovision fandom.
Fun fact is he is actually not singing in his native language, until he was 11 Daniel was still in Germany. So technically german is his native language, although you wouldn't notice because he sounds like a proper Aussie now.
Folk flest: hallo...80's pop og metal kan umulig kombineres! Det bare funka ikke. Voyager: Hold my beer... Har gåsehud omtrentligen gjennom hele sangen ! Denne blir å gå på repeat i ei god stund fremover 🤩😍
Would love to see you react to some more Aussie metal! (metalcore or other subgenres!) Check out bands like Parkway Drive, Northlane, Make Them Suffer, In Hearts Wake & Thy Art Is Murder
Actually the lead singer was from Germany, the female guitarist is Scottish , the other singer and guitarist has Dutch parents, only 1 is more than 1 generation Australian. In other words just your typical, average Australian group.
Yes sadly we don’t have the advantage of voting blocs. So if we did win it would be because people saw past politics and really loved the music and what it stands for. It would be genuine.
Bulgaria 22 had guitar solo but the rest of their song was meh. And Finland 08 (only pure heavy metal entry ever. check it out if you haven't seen that awesomeness)
Established band. They are fantastic live. This music is very Australian. Appreciate you like it
Well it depends on the point of view. They should've already been as big as Airbourne at least. But they will for sure be after Eurovision
This was awesome!! 😀🧡
@@martinsmejkal7455 Did not know Airbourne was from Australia, cool!
Germany is known for rock 😂
We love the far away european country too! ❤😅 Voyager smashed this.
Fantastic reaction guys, so happy you love our entry this year!!! Voyager are even better live. Go Australia 🇦🇺 😊

Voyager will really enjoy your reaction 😂. Fun facts.. Lead singer born in Germany. Guitar soloist born in Scotland
And Simone's sister (guitarist) lives in the Netherlands :)
Wow they are really international!! Awesome band! 😀🤘
12 points!! Come on Europe. Make history! Vote Australia for the win !!!
A sure voter in here🙋. I hope Australia wins the competition this year. I told everyone durin this spring how there's a black horse in this year ESC🤩.

The song from last year when they came second in australia (lost cause jury votes) was insane.
Wow thank you very much 🤗🧡 This ROCKED!

Deserves Top 5. My favourite in the final
They should have won hands down! Absolute genius
Its more than alright its fantastic. ❤

Yeah he fooled us! 😂🧡
And he is a lawyer who would have guessed
awesome
It's called a Key-tar ;-)
8 albums already where you guys been 🤣

Voyager: Hold my beer...
Har gåsehud omtrentligen gjennom hele sangen ! Denne blir å gå på repeat i ei god stund fremover 🤩😍
You guys are great, good reaction, you even made reference to the Lord, hope it was not taking his name in vain.
More Australian band? AC/DC hahaha 😆 enjoyed your reactions so much

jeg hørte denne første gang direkte på finalen, fikk sjokk! Det er liksom alt fra Dream Theater til Soilwork og Fear Factory :)
Ja ikke sant? Dette var en skikkelig overraskelse 😄🤘
Did you say golden showers in the beginning??
Its should win. But the voting system disadvantages Australia
It's only bc we are in the southern hemisphere Australasia
Yes sadly we don’t have the advantage of voting blocs. So if we did win it would be because people saw past politics and really loved the music and what it stands for. It would be genuine.
But in Eurovision only the voice is live, not the instruments, so we can't enjoy the guitar solo, live.
🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
I meant 1999
Lissen Voyager sing Colours
I think they started in 1990, I think
Tbh they’re too good for Eurovision
It's actually not his native language😂
The singer was born an raised in Germany haha.
😂Really?? Well, i guess that backfired 😄🧡
Since you mentioned, hope you don't blastheme
he doesn't even sing in his native language: he was born in germany and grew up there before moving to australia
Bulgaria 22 had guitar solo but the rest of their song was meh. And Finland 08 (only pure heavy metal entry ever. check it out if you haven't seen that awesomeness)
