Hello again, dear Peta! I just did this wonderful massage for the first time after my Powerlift. I had been using organic grapeseed oil for face massage but today I added a few drops of organic castor oil which is supposed to penetrate deep into the skin and help decrease acne scars, deep cleanse pores, and stimulate production of elastin and collagen. If you google "20 best non-comedogenic organic skin care oils" you will find a site that gives a description of each oil and what skin types and conditions it is good for. Consulting this resource will reduce the chance of breakouts. Also a good idea to do a patch test on the inside of your forearm. Then wait 24 hours to make sure there is no allergic reaction before using a new oil on your face. These massages are a lovely addition to your program. Seeing you without makeup is an inspiration! You look 15 years younger than your actual age. Your face is beautiful, toned and firm.

Great info, as always, Peta. I have coconut oil here, so I'll use that. Have you ever tried dry brushing the face? I was very into that years ago, but eventually got lazy and stopped doing it every night before bed. I'm going to restart though, because back when I was doing it faithfully, my daughter, (who didn't know I was dry brushing at night) mentioned that my skin "looks really good", so I guess the dry brushing did 'something'. :) I've been following your program for well over a year now, but I *still* cannot seem to get any cheek volume. I know that I'm doing the exercises properly, because I can feel 'the burn' in all the right places when I'm done, but my cheeks just will NOT plump up. :\
KPJ yes, thank you for all your support. You face volume might be something to do with genetics, or something like that. I feel there may be an underlying issue there that is not helping that along, but keep going, dont stop!
I loved the face cupping, for about six months, then it gave me eczema on my face. Thanks to my nutritionist, I got rid of the eczema, but I'm afraid to try it again. Instead, I love these massages and facial exercises, along with fresh fruits and vegetables, at 54 I see a difference.

Hi toot toot, I havent used anything at all, if I used fillers and injections I would not be able to move my face to do the exercises. All of it is done with facial exercise, my devices and my skincare line. :-)

Hi Nicki, olive oil is too heavy and will detox your face. You need to use a light oil for any massage

Have you ever tried dry brushing the face? I was very into that years ago, but eventually got lazy and stopped doing it every night before bed. I'm going to restart though, because back when I was doing it faithfully, my daughter, (who didn't know I was dry brushing at night) mentioned that my skin "looks really good", so I guess the dry brushing did 'something'. :)
I've been following your program for well over a year now, but I *still* cannot seem to get any cheek volume. I know that I'm doing the exercises properly, because I can feel 'the burn' in all the right places when I'm done, but my cheeks just will NOT plump up. :\

Hi Liane, actually it could be if you are stretching the skin. If you cant use oils, and your skin is thin, possibly the massage is not for you.
