I kept looking for the front driveshafts and the the belt, chain or shaft and thought, hmm maybe it's under the chassis? What do I know, I just run vintage stuff.
Yeah, you definetly are. This was probably one of the worst unboxing ever. Everything's out of frame very often, no research done, relying on comments down below. Honestly, this was just bad on every metric! Nobody needs low effort, lazy videos like this. If you're back in rc, fine! But man, have some dignity! You can't even be bothered to solder a few connectors...
I used to race back in the 'brushed' days and I rocked a Futaba Magnum Jr....for more than a decade. I loved the feel of it and have yet to find it's comparison.
Dude, building the kits is a great part of the hobby. You spot areas of potential weaknesses, areas to modify, and know how to fix WHEN things break. My first hobby grade is the original RC10 that I still have, and yes it still runs I’ve built, restored, and rebuilt a bunch of cars over the years: Team Associated, Tamiya, Traxxas (restore/modify) Kyosho, etc. I suggest you get the following kits to BUILD: Tamiya Grasshopper, Associated RC10 classic/reissue, Kyosho Ultima Classic.
Or the TLR 22 platform. They are tanks for bashing and extremely competitive in racing as well. Super clean builds with very well illustrated assembly manuals.
It's an (looks like) RC10 B2. If Associated was still running a Stealth trans I wouldn't be surprised. It's a standard Associated layout. It's good and it works.
psst... it's 2 wheel drive.... but anyways....this is a very capable entry level track truck perfect for someone maybe just switching from bashing to the track. Not many bashers are good on the track and not many track trucks hold up well to bashing.

Thanks for mentioning your hobby channel. Anything (not negatjve) that brings joy for people in this shitstorm world I endorse.
My first - and only RC was the Tamiya AMG Mercedes. I loved the building process. Don't know if I was any good but it worked pretty awesome. Unfortunately the cost and time and lack of space to really run them made it my only RC i ever had. If i ever got back into the hobby I would want to build again but it seems most stuff is all rtr these days.
Damn j framing fucking framing. zoom out a little bit. I’ve been a team associated (A.E.) fan boy for 25 years since gold pan rc10 gt in fact I still have 4 RC10GT from factory team kit I built when I was 9th grade in 1998 to fully built anodized aluminum polished everything shelf queens. I really miss the hobby.
I enjoy building Tamiya rc models, shoot me a message if you would like to see my work. Would be honored to build a kit for you(you buy the kit :)). I recommend the BBX.
I agree it would be nice to see him drive at least some of the best ones around an RC circuit in his back yard. Yet come on cut him a break he does a full run on the technical stats and speciations with necessary detail in his context of each product.
I am a total idiot lol. I don't know why I thought this was a 4X4. My bad. I'll shoot some new videos tomorrow as a sorry.

9 days since you said “tomrorow” :(
They have 2x4 can turn into 4x4 and the sc10 pro4 is what ya wanted ope
Bro - any chance these vids could have some B roll of you driving them? Would make it far more engaging IMHO.
The Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin is such a classic design
This is awesome. I know what to do for my son this summer. Thank you so much.
Tyco rc was my first
Still have my fast traxx
So glad you’re back. I remember back around 2014 you vids
He's just doing lazy unboxings, might as well stay away!
Gold pan RC10, novack ESC and Futaba controller and a trinity mod motor so many memories .
Not a criticism just wondering, you keep calling it a 4x4 but the box says 2wd ( 8:34 ). Am I missing something?
It’s 2 wheel drive for sure. I think he just unboxed the wrong truck.
I used to race back in the 'brushed' days and I rocked a Futaba Magnum Jr....for more than a decade. I loved the feel of it and have yet to find it's comparison.
My first rc was Team Associated Gold tub RC10 back in the day. Loved that car.
Yep, I still have mine.

Its based on the rc10b5. And the stealth trans is a collectors item nowadays.
This is cool

Epic!
Gens Ace is too expensive for me now. I use Zeee batteries. I hope you enjoy the Senton, hopefully even more than the Slash!
The upside you can enter racing classes easier if you are interested.
2:18 Sooo.... I tried to take a drink every time Jeremy said "4x4". Yep, I'm trashed, and the box is still closed!!
I want to go to Trackside when things calm down after I get my Tekno built out.
Protec lipo batteries for the win!
I'm local to your area. I live in Watertown actually. I absolutely love to build kits. I'll build all of them
Batteries: Still like Thunder Power. Think some running MaxAmps. Others the AMain Brand.
Design looks the same as my old sc10b?
Dude, where's your shop, I'll come build ya some kits....
You should pull the camera out a bit more it's weird to have a headless body.
Yes please...
Agree
Mix it up a little in future please....review a few decent R C Helicopters as well as cars

Jeremy: *Elon, can the Cybertruck be remotely driven?!*
Elon: Why?
Jeremy: Pfft, nooooo reason, bro. No reason.
I have a gold pan
Its not april 1st yet my guy

Team associated are made for racing
Talking Hands RC. Where you drunk? You know how to frame the shot...
Dude..... I hope this video is troll lol
Bro.. if your not gonna drive them i’m not gonna sub to watch. C’mon
Tamiya was my first but also a rubbish builder.
This is 2wd…..
Tamiya goldpan era? Wtf?
And that pronunciation of Tamiya makes me cringe. Its 2024, everybody should know how to pronounce it by now!
This channel is the epitome of cheap lazy unboxing videos. No effort whatsoever!
