Now this is closer to what true 1/10th SCT would be if the manufacturers had them scaled accurately. (perhaps 1-1.5" longer wheelbase and 0.5" narrower) I love how it fits so much better on that small indoor track compared to normal SCT sizes.
What's great about this LT10 and all the other off road RTR Associated vehicles is that they share the same exact chassis. RB10, LT10, DR10, SC10, RT10, DK10, SR10 and the Trophy Rat are all based off of the B4/B5 rear motor platform.
Great video, nice to see them in racey conditions. may i suggest small foam washers between body and mount to rid the body noise. these are all based off old RC10B5 rear motor buggy, so lots of hop ups/FT parts work.
It looks like a good little truck. Tires, as always, make a huge difference. Are the stock tires short course tires? That would mean they are slightly bigger than the buggy tires you added. Would the DVC system in the esc might make it easier to drive or not. I think it's like a gyro system. Very good video.
I dont think the esc is programable, how ever their is a hack where you can adjust the braking. Razor rc has a video on how to hack the esc to turn the brakes down. Video is titled hack to adjust the brakes on Team Associated Rival MT10, the rival MT10 uses the same esc as the Pro 2 LT 10.
@@LyroLife I like it mainly because of all the competition and making sure you have your weight and power all distributed right and just seeing who can make it the farthest without something going wrong or spinning out but also because of the people I do it with
Calling this a "Short Course Buggy" is inaccurate, there are already full-size short-course buggies that are, well, actual buggies - the Losi XXX-SCB is a model of these. The closest full-size class to this is a "Mod Kart", which is basically an off-road go-kart with a truck body on it. Also, by this being a "Mod Kart", that actually makes it 1/7th or even 1/6th scale if you go by actual scale, similar to how "1/10th scale" SCTs are actually proportioned to 1/8th scale but marketed as 1/10th because they're based on 1/10th scale platforms. An _actual_ 1/10th scale SCT would be the Tamiya DT02 Nissan Titan.
I remember when AE was good at painting their bodies. I like the truck alot but wtf where they thinking painting that body. Easy fix i know but damn its ugly lol
Man love the rtr content. Show you dont need to have a high dolla rig to go out and have fun!!!!! Oh yeah and the self marshaling was dailed!!!!!
Shortcourse, the Pickleball of RC
😂😂
This comment 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You are right about most of the AE RTR'S.
The Pro2 Sc10, Trophy Rat, and DR10 use a longer chassis.
It sounds exactly like what it would sound like if you threw the box that it came in around those jumps
😂
Its cool to take an sr10. Swap longer shocks. And road road with it. Truck does pretty solid!

I actually run 1.9 beadlock rims with low profile trail truck tyres, work surprisingly well as a front wheel for 2wd sct/buggy rigs
I love any low cost option class
COUGH!it’saB4COUGH! (Not a bad thing). Looking forward to seeing it with a better servo.
Sometimes all you need is a set of tires good video can’t wait for the next one
Love the videos man!! That looks just like the SR10 and DR10 but different wheels... lol
Thats pretty sweet....wish losi had something like that.....i can't drive AE cars....dont know why.😎👍
I just won one of these and looking to see what upgrades it needs!
Would love to see you cover the beet juice tire prep.
Looking forward to part 2!!!
Love this! Would love my track to have a class for these
Can't wait to see the lap times 🎉
Razor RC has a video on how to adjust the breaking % on the esc.

Nice run! looks planted for a stock setup..
I'd love a servo recommendation on this, I'm a Crawler guy and don't know anything about buggies/SCT's
I use mostly savox 1258 tg in most of mine. Fast and never have problems.
Another MX Acres video?? Letsa GOOOoooo!
Great video bud from the uk
Thanks 👍

The stock tires are smaller than sct tires narrower also
These are great vids. SCT racing is the best. When you gona stop messing around n just get a tekno to run? I bet a SL would tear it up
I had a tekno mini truggy for a minute.

Thank you I’ll check it out
Now turn a bandit into a slash sw😅. Wouldn't this be a 1/12 or something? Lol
You either love em or hate em think im getting this one
Nice Video.
Are that buggy wheels?
Yes
You made me wanna start a rc channel
Not racing but pulling
Sadly I don’t have a track within 3 hours that has anything I can race in
What do you like about pulling? What makes it fun?
What are the challenges?
What other RCs do you like?

What 2 or 3 servos do you find work well for 1/10 scale buggies and trucks?
I mostly use savox 1258 or 1257 tg they sell them at our local shop and I just kinda stick with them.
Thank you sir@@mxacres
You are likely going to find the shocks dont hold oil well at all
You are correct
I remember when AE was good at painting their bodies. I like the truck alot but wtf where they thinking painting that body. Easy fix i know but damn its ugly lol
Team associated customer service SUCKS!!!!!
I’ve never had any problems with ar cars, so I can’t agree or disagree.
Why they keep doing this kind of ‘drive like shit’ cars. 😂
