LOL I am not sure why arrma and traxxas don't make a ARTR version of the RTR r/c's. The Cost of some of these R/C's is out of hand and they come with sub par electronics. That’s damn well built for a Stock truck. Good looking shocks, Aluminum Chassis, stock fans on the ESC and Motor. Not bad. The body is really nice. Definitely would wanna run it on 4S at the lowest.

RTR is a factory Ford race team, they build RTR mustangs and Broncos for purchase too. Big in drifting and off roading communities. Vaughn Gitten jr. actually worked with Ford on the S650 Mustangs.
You should get the Kraton 6s EXB v2! Just came out and I picked one up before Christmas... it's for sure the best out of the box basher I have ever driven. Happy New Year!

There are a couple guys in my area who built a RC race track, jumps and all, in the park and the park guys are cool with it as long as it kept. This is a great secret to share! Race Wisconsonably♥️⚡🏴☠️
Arrma makes good stuff, I prefer Losi as my main brand. I like Traxxas too. You start putting too much Torque you will strip gears like crazy. Definitely get a metal pinion and Spur gear. 270 torque for a stock servo is really good. Spectrum DX controllers are awesome and as you said let’s you go to non BND instead of RTR.
So disappointed with my big rock 6s. The esc failed day 1, Horizon hobby said they would replace it and sent me a 3s BLX esc. Haven't heard back from them in about a week now. I'm guessing they aren't going to respond back so I don't know what I'm going to do now.
No offence, but wth?? How many projects are you running? Quartering, live stream, the publica, midwestern channel, coffee company and playing raid shadow legens. And now this too? How many hours has a day on the planet you are living on??
ARRMA's 6S line is their sweet spot. Yeah they are all basically a derivation of the standard 1/8 scale buggy/truggy platform, but that makes them durable, perform great, and the drive train does hold-up to the 6S power. The 1/7 scale ARRMAs like this Big Rock 6S is really just an extended chassis 1/8 scale platform. I do think their EXB trucks are the best value as the upgrades you get out of the box should be plenty for all but the most extreme bashers.
