It was damn delicious. I changed the recipe a bit, but it was so good. I put 200 g of cottage cheese and 200 g of greek yoghurt instead of just ricotta. I added peas, zuchinni, spring onion and spinach. Also instead of meat I added black lentils. And I roughly chopped some hazelnuts. So great.

Very good recipe! I used vegan chorizo and mushrooms, zucchini, and red bell pepper. I did need to cook a little longer (probably because of the water in the veggies, I put them in raw). I'll be having this for lunch with a salad this week. Yum! Thank you!

@@HowToCookSmarter Update: This recipe was a huge hit in our house. I didn't have any fennel to make Italian sausage, so I used some soy chorizo from Trader Joe's. It added a little extra spice to the casserole. We had it for dinner with a salad as one of our vegetarian options and reheated the rest for lunch the next day. It was light but filling and yet another one of Sasha's recipes that will be a keeper.
