This is a very good review on the Canon EOS RP camera and showing us all in this video all the weddings that you took with it came out absolutely beautiful and what you think of the way the camera performs and adding the Pros and Cons on it was a plus for those that wish to use this camera for their photography 📸
Great video! I just got my Cannon RP. I haven't had time to go out to take any photos but I'm looking forward to doing it this weekend. Thanks for the information.
I have shot events with the Rp. Two things I don’t like. One, the battery life, you need a few of them to get through a whole day of shooting especially if you use flash, second is the fact it has one sd card slot, you just worry if something happens, you will lose all your images.other than that, the rp works fine, it’s eye af is superior than most other systems at this price point and when you shoot portrait mode, you have the articulated screen.
its not a pro camera, its a camera for lets say....... enthusiasts. If you need and want pro specs, you must put a buch of bucks more on the desk....... 😉😉
I got the RP and though the 35mm is nice, I like using the EF24-105 f4 as my main...coming from the 60D the most annoying pieces for me is the SD card placement and not having lpe6 batteries...had to get the extender for everyday shooting and a 3rd party battery grip for all day shooting
Reviews don't talk about that because it does have a mechanical shutter. I can take the lens off of my RP, hit the shutter, and watch the shutter curtain come down. You might be thinking about how the shutter doesn't close when the camera is off, like the R does.
@@picattiu4813 you are right, and no one is talking about it as you mentioned. I found out from a forum thread when researching. I was gutted to the honest. It would’ve been perfect considering the size.
@@kevrosas1 yeah that's why i was forced to get a 6d mkii instead. guess I have to save up for the R if I want a full frame mirrorless. But I still enjoy using a dslr. But the evf of like the one in the m5 is what makes me want to get a mirrorless with advance tracking systems.
Is there any problem with the EF - RF adapter with old EF lenses? I'm deciding between Canon RP + EF adapter vs Sony A7 II with Sony lenses (used gear, nothing new)
avoid it, crap camera with crap battery. R4 ad R6 owners now experiencing unexplained lockups and silence from canon. R3 looks great but 4 times my budget. wait for next year, new FF coming, hopefully a watered down R3, but far superior to Rp.
Never stop doing what you your passion moves you to do.

How is your RP working out?
Great review, I’m interested in seeing how much different the R6 is!
Thanks for the video. I would recommend a closer mic. The audio was a bit difficult for me to follow

This is so good! Thanks man I needed this!
Awesome review man. Maybe get a lav or so for the audio next time 💪🏻 keep killing it
Excellent video, Andrew. Editing skills are great as well. This camera is definitely a good investment for any professional photographer.
Great video!!! Super informative 👀
Great review!!!!! On the way to get one right now!!!!!!
Dope! I'm a Sony & Nikon shooter myself, but this makes me super interested in trying our Cannon! 🔥🙌🏽
Amazing review bro 🔥
RP is a solid body.
I can't wait to eventually get some RF 'L' glass
I was able to snag an R5.. but that 35mm 1.8 is awesome
Nice information!!! I’d love to see more videos from you!
Great insight! Thanks bro 🔥💪🏾

Hey! Try to put the wire behind the screen.
Open screen first and route wire behind 👍🏽
Awesome review!
Great review! Excellent photos too
Using my RP with 85mm lens . Auto focus and color tone awesome !
Just recently got the samyang 85mm 1.4 and it’s my favorite lens now. I hope you’re enjoying the 85mm as well
Great review I liked how you explained the details of the camera and how it helped make your pictures better.
Top notch content bro!
woooo those photos are dope
A solid video brother, keep'em coming
Yes we want that video!
Top camera. For 4 K better use it with manual focus lenses. Crop factor can be an advantage while filming wild animals.
I have had the Canon M50, then the Canon M6 Mark II and now that I am getting more into photography i wanted a full frame.
The only thing that made me steer clear from the RP was the lack of mechanical shutter, I am suprised how many reviewers don't talk about this.

@@thepibbster1130no the RP only has EFCS, its not a true mechanical shutter, try searching for HSS banding RP.

Great review!!!! Thanks for this!!!
Great video I'm thinking about to purchase one to start and make Videos this video helped so thank you
Also, I’m honestly going to use the dslr for sharp images for my IG/blog. Would you recommend this camera for that?
nice review. I’m considering this camera. I’d honestly just start with the nifty fifty lense. The others seem a little too expensive for me right now.
Did you purchase the camera?
@@RichieColemanSr not yet. I got a bit overwhelmed and couldn’t decide.
@@daywithdelta7645 lol... that's what I'm going through. Are you leaning towards Canon brand?
@@RichieColemanSr for sure leaning towards canon
@@RichieColemanSr I purchased it! I bought it with the kit lens because it did pretty well and just purchased the night fifty for it! So far so good.

no issues with the EF - RF adapter that I've seen, I used a EF 70-200 on my R6 and it worked great
@@andrewallenmedia thanks!
So informative!!!
Keep it up bro
Great video man
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for this informative review ! It seems like a good camera to have . Gotta have the 35 mm
Plan to buy canon eos rp soon good for portrait photography
What storage device you use? On the left from iMac? Good episode, thank you :)
Great review - but can you use a clip on mic or sth for the next review because you sound so far away like that :)
You mention you had a 6D II… since it’s rumored that the RP has the same sensor, have you ever made a comparison?
I’ve heard people call the RP the mirrorless version of the 6D
It’s not a rumour, it IS the same sensor.
Thanks for the video. I have the 6D mkII, what made you move to the RP?
Is this a good studio video camera for painting detail portraits or sewing?
Do you use the rp for video ? Have you used it professionally for video in anyway ? How good is the quality ?
Wow learned a lot thanks 🙏🏽
Is it true that AF doesn't work in 4K?
It is true, AF only works for 1080 on the Rp
Great review! Keep doing what your doing!
How is low light performance ?
Great info. & review. Trying to get a start up camera for my different social media platforms. Something to consider. Thanks! Yes, compare the R-6.
look at this dudes arms, this is what happens when you use heavy cameras
RIP Canon RP

you are comparing 1000$ body to 6000$ body in single sentence... nonsense!
