There is a chapter of ours in English based on the Novel 'Pride and Prejudice' that's why our teacher advised us to watch this movie and I am here to enjoy❤
I've always enjoyed this adaptation! Bingley is so cute in this version, he gives off golden retriever energy and it's so apt. 😆 Thanks for posting this!
Fairly faithful adaptation, I'd say! The pride and prejudice were clearly portrayed, and the modernization of the storyline along with the characters were also well re-written. I enjoyed it. The themes were definitely easier to understand than the original 🤣🤣🤣
I saw this film in 2007 and I can't believe how much I like it. I am a fan of the PBS/Colin Firth/Jennifer Ehle version and yet I still like this one for some reason. Why? I think it's got some serious charm. Even though I'm not Mormon, I think it did a great update.
what an interesting adaptation! so fun. i love Bingley, he reminds me of owen wilson the way he talks and is such a cute honest guy. they did a good job making each character very distinct.
Novel, refreshing, hallmark-like but solid interpretation. There were some really nice moments and the dialogue was good. The wishful flash-forwards made me think of 'Amelie'. Thank you for sharing it.
Very good upload-no zooming and no ads, thanks for sharing. Interesting modern day adaptation of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (the book was originally called First Impressions). Enjoy the movie
Yes Jan Austen when wrot this named it as first impression...but in 1813 she rewrite it with some modification and nameed it as pride and prejudice...pride is related with Darcy and prejudice is with Elizabeth
I really like the rewrite of the fates of Lydia, Mary, and Kitty! And of Caroline Bingley marrying that much older rich man and having so many children with him over their 18 years together! lolol
The 1995 BBC miniseries of Pride and Prejudice, starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth, and the 2005 film, which featured Matthew Macfadyen and Keira Knightly, are easily the most popular. The one with Colin Firth was always my favorite. But I appreciate the other adaption. Ive not yet seen this one. Im thankful you posted it. And I hope you will add the Colin Firth version to your channel if you havent already. I dont think nybody can play Mr Darcy better than he. And Colin Firth played that role ao easily because Ive seen hin in interviews and he sometikes reminds me of his character Mr Darcy. He is so eloquent and well spoken. He is so charismatic and charming and he has a funny sharp witty tongue. So im sure he was able to step into the role of playing Mr Darcy so very well. He may be 26 years older than me. But if I was single, I would totally date and later marry this man. Not only is he handsome still. But his intelligence and sharp mind is so sexy too me. Even if he didnt still look dashing, Id still date him because his sweet and kind nature along with his witty tongue makes him so handsome regardless of any outward appearance. Its a known fact that there has been some famous very sexy actors that I found appealing. Only later I might of heard they went crazy or got into scientology or did something outlandish that crossed the line and any sex appeal and charm they once had over me went right out the window and even now I find them disgusting and unattractive. I dont even want to know if Colin has any deep dark horrible secret because in my mind he is a perfect gentleman and I hope he stays that way.
❤wow, This movie is the best, isn't it being imperfect in something is just wonderful, it makes people unique, adorable, loving. Everyone around loving you is just fine when you are always perfect, but people loving you when you are imperfect makes you more special, and that makes you realise who truly loves you. Imperfect is just being Extraordinary, I absolutely love my imperfections and i embrace it😇❤❤❤
Lite. Better than the new “Persuasion” movie (wretched) which goes completely against the spirit of the original story. It had some cute moments and some valid connections to the book. Mr. Darcy looked and acted like a hobbit, especially compared to glamorous, blonde Elizabeth.
Didn't like it because it's not realistic. The classic novel characters' behavior were believable according to that historical background. However, in this movie, characters and their behavior seems awkward.
Pride and Prejudice (2003) - imdb 5.0 Jane Austen's classic is transplanted to modern-day Utah. While her college roommates search for love, aspiring writer Elizabeth Bennet focuses on her career but constantly finds herself fighting haughty businessman Will Darcy.
Super well done adaption, for sure, but also weird as the main themes of the original are a bit outdated. Plus, whoever the actor is that played Darcy looks like a mix of Colin Firth, Daniel Radcliffe, and Tom Hiddleston to me. IE: YUM Edit: As a HUGE fan of this story, and a writer of romance, I loved this adaptation.
This Was good and funny ,I watched Bollywood version with Aishwaria Rai in it for the first Pride & prejudice movies .Can’t wait watch with the Colin Firth in it 💋💋💋👍😘
We're tasked with having a compendium about this literature; instead of reading the novel, I'm here to watch it first before I read it, because maybe with this medium I can easily make my part in our compendium. lol, still planning to read, but yeah, for now, I'll just enjoy this movie. By the way, hi Sir Elixer Ubalde and to my group mates, Lea Buenaobra and Rue Krisha Clariño. Bhawaahaha.😆
The actual Jane Austin version of pride and prejudice with Keira knightly is a fantastic version, but I have some difficulty in understanding everything that’s being said.i had hope that this would help me see common themes n storyline adapted to todays modern language n thereby help me understand the general attitude of all the common scenes. I was very disappointed.

This is not the ORIGINAL ONE , you know, it's kinda a modern remake, what's in the course is the real one
My teacher also advised us University of Allahabad English department
Our teacher advice us too😂
Yh. My teacher also appreciate 😅😅
Same
The little imperfections in the actors' delivery make the characters actually more believable... while some overdone scenes are hilarious 👌❤😂

Mormon! I KNEW IT!
Oh I think its Mr Darcy, extremely well cast!
still a more accurate Austen adaptation than Netfilx's Persuasion.
How can someone doesn't know this exists I'm such grateful that i could watch this lika it's free omg this is such a hard work they are so talented

lovely movie, very good acting. It is 20 years later They all look good and beautiful
Interesting TWIST on Austen’s Pride & Prejudice ❤❤
I like it not as an adaptation of pride and prejudice. It was funny and kept getting better all the way to the end.

Crazy, funny, delicious Jane Austen's adaptation 😂😂❤❤
Do you have others titles like that? I mean from Jane Austen tales.
This was very nostalgic since I graduated from high school in 2003. It was a little outrageous, but still entertaining. I would watch it again!
This cute movie didnt disappoint me. Thank you for the share
This adaptation respects Jane Austen
Didn't like it because it's not realistic.

Why did they make Bingly so wacky. Good comedy, can't compare to the original.😂

Sem comparação com o filme de 2005. Imbatível. Lindo. Inesquecível.
At first, I thought this was a fun adaptation. The longer it went on, the less I liked it. Too bad.
Can anyone share the link of this film 1990s version
The background music.....makes it hard to watch the movie. It's horrendous.

The music completely destroyed this movie
Hey anyone from Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩

It's not pride and prejudice
Essa história perde todo o encanto quando retratada em nossa época.
