Mr. Keitt, I am not paralyzed but I am in a wheelchair because of brittle bones, and issues with my feet, which makes walking very painful. Since Covid, I put on 60 pounds and now have other issues related to being, "moderately obese". I spend way too much time sitting, not moving and have a terrible weakness for ice cream. These exercises made me feel alive for the first time in a couple years and I look forward to doing these exercises every day. Thank you for posting.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. I have cerebral palsy myself and also use a wheelchair. As with many of these wheelchair workouts, they center around people who had become paralyzed due to injury, rather than having been born with a certain condition. One of the biggest learning curves that I'm slowly starting to get over is not letting that difference intimidate me or make me feel excluded just because our circumstances aren't exactly the same. We're all humans with sophisticated bodies and are part of this journey together, no matter the source of disability.

I’m not a 100% wheelchair user but I have MS who’s had several issues the last few years causing issues from my hips down on both sides!! It’s been easier for everyone in my life to make me use a wheelchair vs worrying about me falling using my walker!! I’m happy to find you bc the depression has become so bad! This gives me hope bc getting my upper body strength helps getting back to my walker to work on my strengthening my legs!!
This is a great work out. I have fibromyalgia and I cant really do high impact excercise for my tummy but this is great. Sometimes I have to stop a little to recuperate but I keep on going and I feel the burn in my tummy and arms. Wonderful!💪
PLEASE do another video about power exercises or something. This is such a GREAT video. I am a paraplegic T5-6 and Im doing this exercise every other day. I live abroad, and there aren't a lot of videos focusing on paraplegic training. So it would be such a treat to have one or two more videos. Thank you

Thank you for posting this video. I just became wheelchair bound. I had asked my PT about ab righting exercises. He just told me to do pushaways. In other words push away from te table. I’m still able to lose weight and am doing so. I have not been able to walk since 12/2020. I have had. 11 surgeries in 17 months on my knees and ankle. So i have lost a lot of my muscle tone

That's pretty cool, although 90% of those exercises were not activating any of the said muscles in a C6 Quadriplegic, probably not even a C7, although the exercises are better then no exercises, im not hating just wanted to let you fellow Quads know that doing these exercises will only help lose overall body weight, it's impossible to target a muscle that simply doesn't fire and losing too much overall makes you prone to pressure areas. Goodluck.
Trying 2023 by doing this to see if I can shed weight Covid had me put on pounds I’m a little person who has a spinal fusion from neck to hip. This was a really hard exercise I hope to do it at least every day or 3 times a week.

I should probably have started doing this a decade ago when I actually became crippled. Instead I just spent 10 years ballooning especially around the stomach. -_-
yes indeed i just recently loss my ability to walk due to an illness. i was depressed, i gained over 30 lbs and lost the majority of muscle in my legs talk about depression. i’ve always been very fit and always got compliments on my body. so all of it stopped cause i was not longer able to exercise 😤

Mine is belly and hips…middle age spread it’s not the sweets!! I weigh 10stone now and I’m disgusted with myself. Arms and legs ok just the demon middle section.
I come to you in the spirit of love. But it dosent feel right to me, you not humbling yourself to sit in a chair and work out with them...as your equals.
He’s not eating a meal with them- my opinion is he doesn’t need to be sitting with them to train them. However, I appreciate that this video is being shown by actual wheelchair users.

I'm the same and its impossible to hold balance. As soon as your arms flex out the body wants to follow. I do this while lying down with light weights

A little woozy with the breathing portion because I used my nose for the inhale part.

Thats a huge problem area for most. Fasting, weighting training and proper diet can fix anything.
