- This 1998 Toyota Corolla has had a long tenure in my family. Passed down to the generations, it ended it's stay with me. Unfortunately, it's worse for wear, and time to say goodbye.

I am going to be sad when I have to get rid of my Corolla. Last car that I bought with my dad. 😢
Broken Corolla owner (though it's been effectively replaced with an Accord). I didn't expect to feel anything with this, but then you had to show the old photos through the years, including a picture of your grandparents house 😭
You can take for granted how these transportation appliances play a part in the memories we hold dear.
To the '99 Corolla. 🍺🍷🍻🥂
So long, partner
My 02 Corolla Ce has been in my my family since new. It was first my Great Grandmother’s car, then my Grandmother’s, then my parents bought it from her for a little fuel saver in September 2011, then my older brother got it in late 2012 for his first car, and now it’s mine since August 2022 shortly after I got my license. I am sadly thinking about getting rid of it due to the rust as well. I live in Montréal, Canada and it has not been rust proofed since 2010 or 2011. The car still runs great though. I have a lot of sentimental value with the car because I have memories of it as early as 4 years old. It currently has 248,000km on it.
Ayo, that's an 8K8 Brilliant blue pearl '98, the rarest of all the paint codes
Can’t believe this guy directed justice league
Neat car Zach, my father owns a 2002 Toyota sequoia and it is still running strong to this day. It has never gotten a check engine light and it is just such an awesome little beast. Sad to see this corolla go, peace out.
Rest easy ol' fella 🤙
i love this type of video, i had an old 2003 mazda protege, i wish someone made a video like yours for that car haha
I dont know how you did it my friend but you’ve made me feel as if i knew that car and the end felt like a late 90s early 2000s show
The suspension is so cheap to fix on this. Creaks are more than likely sway bars which are 20-30$, strut assembly set front and back 250-330$ depending on which brand you choose doesnt need additional 100$ for alignment to replace those same with ball joint. This is DIY price which is extremely affordable and doable even if you have to buy the tools for the specific maintenance. Sway bar links tools needed a 8-15mm ratchet set from walmart hyper tough for 10$ that will pay itself off easy. just having ratchet set in first place is incredibly convenient.
Watching this because I'll have to do the same with my 1998 Lexus ES300. 20 years of ownership.
I salute Toyota/Lexus
WHy these cars last forever with very little maintaince
Giving my mother's 1994 Honda Civic away this month to a friend. Only 130k miles. NO RUST. (Arizona only). Looking to replace it with a Corolla or Camry.
Great choice
I had a 1999 Corolla that I sold back in 2010 when I bought a new used 2006 Corolla. The old 1999 car started to have things break and stop working. Rust started to appear at the top of the windshield surround, and at the bottom of the rear wheel arches. The struts were leaking and needed replacing. I was planning on investing a lot to repair it, then I test drove the other used car and realized it was a better use of my money to buy something newer than to invest into the old car, so that's what I did.
Rust is the only weapon that can kill a Toyota.
I loved my Chevy Prizum 1999 Same car. There just a good reliable basic ride. The best type of car imo. Less is so much more.
Starting with the next generation Corolla for the 2003 model year, Toyota rust-proof them by putting coating on it and so many of that generation are still on the road today. Unfortunately, yours is older and doesn't have the rust proofing. It is falling apart and time to say goodbye to it
Instead of opting for the easy way out on several occasions take some responsibility and repair the car correctly, now its too late but the car wasn’t destroyed by time it was killed by its lazy and destructive owners.
This is still a $1000 car in this market.
RIP. Very glad to see you making some epic content again though
That thing could still deliver pizzas for 3 years lol

Are u able to fix the suspension with junkyard parts?
I actually like these cars! that's a nice color. i'm looking for one with a lighter blue.
At 25 years old, this car is too old to fix and would cost too much.
Hello bro how many liter fuel take for 100 km in the city thank you
Do you got a car Instagram page?
so glad I live in a country with strict yearly car inspection 😀
Why are you getting rid of it these cars last forever with very little maintaince
