I have met plenty who have been to over 100 , 200 and even 300 concerts here in the U.K. and Europe including trips to The Greek Theatre , myself included in August '12 , and other concert dates in North America . No - one else begins to approach what Neil brought to the stage . I got to see Neil only once. He had the emerald green sparkly shirt on. From the time he came onstage until he took a vow wife moved in slow motion for me, his music is that wonderfully mesmerizing. Yes, 1976 was his comeback year after taking 4 years off from touring. I remember him saying on Donahue he originally was only going to take one year off but he started to enjoy the relaxation and spending time with his kids.
