I'LL go with sand dragon, maybe give his breath attack sand effects blinding enemies causing them to miss there base attack, and instead of flying, dragon form can crawl leaving the ground disfigured causing movement slow to anyone who steps on it like a sand quake
Gold. Making dragon's blood an active that disables the regen buff but gives Davion his immolation ability back but with higher damage and an even bigger AoE
I remember back in 2009 where me and my friends would use Knight heroes for the lols. •Rogue Knight •Omni Knight •Dragon Knight •Chaos Knight •Holy Knight
DK was the very first hero I picked in DotA when I first started because he looks human. I bought a lot of gauntlets because he is a str hero and then spam his breath fire on creeps until I was out of mana in lane. It feels like it only happened yesterday. It's strange to know that most people watching the anime would probably also pick DK as their first hero in Dota.
Your comment reminds me of my first hero which is Doom because I like the look of Doomguard in Warcraft 3 and I remember the unit portrait when I had to pick a hero in my first ever Dota match. Needless to say, I still love playing him now as well.
@@Yepheonix ??? Watch the video? In Dragon Knight's lore in the original Defense of the Ancients, it says he was the child of a human and a dragon. Should be obvious if you watched the video.

29:28 oh wow i got featured x) Nice work on this one dennis, i was amazed to know that the dota underlords voicelines hinted stuff about the anime. With that said, hopefully new players who are interested in DK finds this video informative :D
I'm surprised too. Hope the anime addresses the discrepancy as why Slyrak is healthy and in full strength in the trailer, or if that dragon was a red-herring.
Yes! Dragon Knight was one of the first heroes I played on the original dota 1. Being a really simple hero to play (also having a cool character model), he was my go to pick when my friends and I play LAN together.
DK was the 2nd hero I picked up back in DoTA. I always thought that when leveling his Dragon form from green to red that he would lose the corrosive breath ability. Took me years to understand and know that wasnt the case in DoTA2 , all those games with me not taking red form until i get to level15
Alexstraza's Dragon Queen spell actually also gives her more health, reduces the duration of crowd control and stuns used against her, lets her use her healing spell without losing her own health and also lets to use her first ultimate where she flies into the sky without delay
Dragon Knight was one of my first, and favorite characters back in the original Dota. I loved his free hp regen, and how it could keep him in lane and keep soaking exp, even when things were going poorly. Then at level 6, I could just turn into a dragon, and eat towers for breakfest with armor type beating chaos damage. He was a braindead character for a braindead preteen me. I liked him so much, I recreated him in one of my new favorite games, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, as a lawful good human paladin 2/steelblood bloodrager 12/dragon disciple 6 I ended up choosing red dragon bloodline as it seems the most appropriate thematically, and it did seem Slyrak was your typical evil chromatic dragon up until his deathbed. He performed exactly as in game, a hard to kill frontline tank with great AC, magic resistance, decent melee damage, and surprising aoe capability that is not normally seen in frontline fighters. (though frontline fighters also are not normally capable of throwing fireballs or dragon breath.) I ended up benching both Valarie and Amiri because he basically did both of their jobs, and went with heavy backline support.
I have played warcraft 3 and the frozen throne according to that game nature prophet and the mirana were finace and the antimage was intrested in mirana later after corruption anti mage became terror blade. Anit mage and nature prophet were brothers in that game.
Watching this video after fi isjing the anime helped me understand more of what the lines he has in Underlords are referring to. Holy crap the lore is so deep
In Mobile Legends, there's a hero named Yu Zhong. He is a frontliner with a knock-up (stun but fancier) and an ultimate that turns him into a dragon that can fly around and is immune to crowd control. At the end of the ult, he temporarily becomes a humanoid dragon with upgraded skill sets. Too bad he doesn't become range though.
That guy is powerful, too bad that my friend has it but prefer Chou instead. This is a word of a ML player, I only play this because I don't have a PC, ML is accessable and my brother and my friends plays it
@@etheron123 In his first release he was constantly getting banned although the devs has nerfed him since then. He's still good in good hands but more manageable now. A tier for fighters.
DK actually has finished art in the current version of Artifact Foundry. He’s a really good early game hero, amazing if he’s unblocked during dragon form.
Hey Dennis. I think some parts of the video warrant consideration for removal or a spoiler warning. At 24:19 Bram and Kaden are both mentioned by name, both of which are characters which are still present and still alive at least up till the third episode of the new series which is where I ve watched to. 25:40 references how Slyrak completely takes over, and, considering Slyrak is still voiced by Tony Todd in the series...you get the idea.
I saw 3 episodes of Dragons Blood and I loved the initiative / investment that Valve did with the animation but I hated what they did with Davion, they totally changed it in relation to the game's lore. And not only that, they did it in a lazy way, every part of him with Slyrak was ridiculous.
Come up with an Elder Dragon Form! What color/element and unique effect would you give to Dragon Knight?
Purple - changing right-clicks to send void balls and causing magic damage
Shining Silver, with an effect causing a stacking debuff which when it goes full after 4 stacks, disarms or mutes the enemy.
Gonna go obscure! Purple Dragon like in D&D! Auto-attack is a long-range blast of energy that hits all targets in a row instantly.
The good old days of playing 4D chess by only leveling his ultimate once to keep its best effect.

I do believe that "Arc Honist" sounds like "Arsonist"
or Arcanist, which sounds like a job a warcraft gnome would have.

More like "Archon", referring to an Elder Dragon.
