This is the model they gave the winners of this years 24 hours of Daytona. They really should have given the ceramic stainless model. The funny thing is Ricky, and Jordan Taylor won over all, and received this model. They are both under 30 years old. My Wife jokingly refers to the gold, and steel model, as an "Old Mans Watch". It's still a Daytona, and an awesome Chronograph though. :)
I noticed that. It may be that Rolex has some extra inventory in this reference and seized an opportunity to give it some publicity in the public eye. Endurance sports car fans globally tend to be one of the most reliably watch-aware sports constituencies. Best, Tim
That's for sure. In F1, two teams are associated with Richard Mille! That's really off the charts. I told my Son, if Haas Racing didn't give Kevin Magnusen a Richard Mille, being at the newer rank of drivers, he would never be able to buy it himself. I'll have to admit, the RM 011 Red QTRT I've seen Romain Grojean wearing on the rubber strap is pretty cool!
Hi Bruce, yes I will. Right now, I'm working to procure one. Our sister brand, Govberg, is an authorized dealer that often takes trades, and though it's hard to believe, we've already seen a few 116500LNs sold by Govberg returning in trades for new watches. As soon as we have a '500LN white, I'll request that Govberg's Philly office forward the watch for my video series. Best, Tim
