That Daytona looked sooooo good in that suit. My 116503 fell victim to its own beauty. Once I bought it, I simply didn't want to wear my 114060 sub anymore so decided to sell the sub. BUT a local dealer had a pre-ceramic 116518 gold Daytona on a rubber strap. I asked whether he'd take the sub plus the TT Daytona for the gold Daytona. He said yes. Deal done.
Like the holistic approach to story telling...Rolex is not just about watches but also aspirations, dreams and a broader lifestyle (which the Daytona is only part of)......
What I like about the suit - (1) great blue/grey color. Absolutely beautiful. (2) double breasted. I’m a 3-piece guy, but, hats off to guys like you a Tom Chamberlin bringing back the double breasted style. (3) trousers fit. Only rec here is for a pair of braces, which might help with the fussy buttoning configuration. Re - the watch. What can I say? A complete showstopper! Particularly love how the YG grabs the light in those lowlight conditions. Seems to happen more so w/the 2-tone than the all YG. Finally, love that black dial Daytona theme. A true heirloom set when you complete it.
A beautiful timepiece SC! I noticed you started make videos with more footage where there is no narrative/only music. I must admit I always skip these portions and look for your audio to hear your thoughts on the watches. I wonder how does the audience retention look on those portion of your video..? I might be the minority here as it must be working for you given you have been using this filming technique for quite a few recent videos.
I have a had a few people comment that they like the short music films, but my retention graph does dip off during those portions and I am losing some viewers. I just enjoy making them for me and the few people that like them, and it is practice for me to get better at film-making. (Plus, sometime I feel like I don’t have much interesting to say!)

I saw it from the outside! but I haven’t visited it yet. I did a previous video at this hotel with my Milgauss, so this is kind of a recycle. But I’m looking for a location for my Explorer II next.
Nice video. Wear my two tone Daytona a lot and I love the black dial. Yes it's got some scratches but I'm never selling it so who cares. Like you tend to wear my Rolex's now only with long sleeves. The world is fucked up. Can you tell me what the piano music played with the restaurant shots is please
Esther Abrami - No. 6 In My Dreams. Just picked it from the UA-cam music list, but it is beautiful. For the vast majority of people, I’d rather prefer if they didn’t notice my watch. I just enjoy them for myself. (CERTAIN people, I secretly hope they notice 😉)
Really appreciate your composition skills and love the combination of diamond indices, black dial, and two-tone yellow gold. A great choice worn discreetly as you have for a tasteful bit of flash. I’m in the camp where I don’t like being too noticed either, but if it’s discrete and doesn’t draw attention I’ll take it as a compliment.
Out of curiosity, what’s your profession?
In my opinion this style of video is great, it’s much than the basic 6 month reviews that others do, thanks for your hard work
I try to keep up some variety and experimentation on my videos. sometimes they work, sometimes not. thanks.

I also had the 114060 briefly, but I didn't like the thick lugs, so sold it. A good decision.
But the 116518, do you like it better than the 116503?
Beautiful video, lovely music!
🤝 Glad you liked!
Your suit looks just phenomenal. Where do you make your suit?? Which tailor?
Thank you. I still do RTW, have not gone bespoke yet. This suit is Orazio Luciano. I usually wear Liverano suits.
Interesting to see how different a two tone Daytona is from the full gold when you held them side by side. They looked very different aesthetically.
Ooh, yeah. There is a difference. It's why I decided to keep both of them. Each has its own place in a collection...🤟🏼
Absolutely stunning piece

Beautiful Daytona and sharp suit!
thanks!

Great point about the yellow gold! I should have said that. It really glows in a low light/warm light environment.

Thanks, I just mentioned your comment on today's video!
Super cool
Beautiful hotel. Have you visited the train museum down the street? One of your GMTs, or perhaps the Explorer, would be perfect for that video!
