I had nasopharyngeal cancer 4years after radiation I can’t swallow anymore gtube for rest of my life. No nasopharyngex closure, radiation fibrosis, and bone spur from my spine pressing on esophagus. If I knew this was gonna happen I would have demanded lower dose of radiation. They told me if I kept swallowing I wouldn’t loose the ability, when I could swallow after radiation they made it sound like I made it through, they never told me it was typical to loose swallowing 4-5 years after treatment! I became so malnourished when I started loosing ability to swallow I wasn’t understanding what was going on I couldn’t get people to understand the struggle and drs were just saying “you gotta eat” my left neck muscle glows on pet scan yet drs never alarmed when I ask about it I got blank stares and shrugs 🤷‍♀️the swallowing problem weakened me so bad my cancer reoccurred in 2022. My neck muscles are always in pain, left shoulder in pain and sometimes pain down my arm to elbow.

A 27-year Hodgkin's survivor, had mantle radiation to mid-pelvis 27 years ago. I have a bad back, neck and low back and migraines from car accidents..... also JUST found a mass in right breast. Stage 1 size, here looking for more info.-this explains some of my other problems; also have a winging scapula.
