After applying the Castrol in both ears, massaging it and cleaning in the app, my puppy played for the first time in four weeks. Thank you so very much. Did not know Castrol work, so good thank you so very much again my puppies, returning to his playful self.
And he got the ear mites from under the house
Thanks so much for this video! I was incorrectly thinking my dog had ear mites causing debris that wouldn't going away with treatment. The visual made me realize it was 100% fungal instead. I used your suggested anti-fungal and cleared up the fungal infection! I was willing to go to the vet, but I knew it had to be something that I could figure out without the $$$. My cocker spaniels had the fungal infection, and one got worse until it turned into a bacterial as well. With your help, I cleared up both. First the fungal, then the bacterial with the antibacterial polysporin you suggested in another video. My dogs and I are so grateful! 😩💛🙌🙌🙌

Can you please tell us how to administer the Monistat to cats ears? How much on a Q-tip? Cotton ball tissue with our finger please please my cat definitely has a yeast ear infection based on what you’re saying only in one year I just wanna make sure I’m not giving her too much how many days how many times a day

my dog had a bad ea infection. did the 3 over the counter meds mixed in equal parts for 10 days. he is no longer in pain. red ,swelling and painful scratched are gone. no more head shaking or constant scratching! thank you so very much! your awesome!

This was so helpful! What would indicate a bacterial infection (vs a yeast one).
Bacterial is a secondary infection from usually scratching from the yeast or ear mites. If it's been scratched and broken skin it could lead to bacterial infection.

Does anyone answer any questions if not why do u even make videos for I just got the monistate with the number 7 on it I hope that's the right one and how do I use it on my dog ear just put some on a qtip and rub it on the inside of his ear but not too deep right or wrong??? I bet noone will answer bc noone answered anyone else's questions

Hi doc! Thanks for these great tips. Me and my mum subscribe. She has two dogs. I have a hamster with ear mite debris! Well I know that after watching this. She’s had two ivermectin treatments and with each perks up a lot. The debris is shifting out but seems to be clinging on. Im not sure whether to pluck the debris which i can get a grip on now with a gentle tug or if i should wait for it to expel itself or if castor oil in a tiny quantity is a solution? Tiny ears, senior hamster 🐹
Very informative video, thank you! Dr. Jones, I need some advice if you don't mind. My dog was groomed and the groomer sliced off the top of a pink bump/wart. It scabbed over and when the scab falls off it has not healed, its oozy no infection present. I cleaned it with alcohol, applied antibiotic, scabbed up, fell off and still has not healed. He is not licking/chewing on it and doesn't mind if I clean it up. Any suggestions how I get this thing to heal? Before this happened he saw our Vet and I was told it was just a typical wart type pink bump. Thank you!

My dog has a bad yeast infection what can I do to take down the swelling ?
I can’t figure out what’s wrong with my dogs ears. The wax in her ear doesn’t look like either of these. She has dark brown wax, and today it was super slimey. The color is normal but the texture is concerning to me. And it smells horrible. Almost like mildew. I took her to the vet a few times and they give her a cleaning and tell me she’s fine. After her cleaning, she’ll be okay for a week or two and then it starts again. It bothers her all day but it’s always around 6am it starts becoming unbearable for her. She does have bad skin allergies so I will be taking her to get her another cyto shot but I feel like it’s more than just allergies because this has been going on about 4/5 months and her allergies have never really affected her ears before. And I never heard of allergies having any effect on the wax? But I could be wrong. It’s bothering her so much and driving both of us crazy. She shakes and scratches her ears all through the night, I can barely get any sleep. I hate to see her suffering like this and wish I could just keep taking her to the vet til they figure it out but I cannot afford to keep paying hundreds for cleanings and having no solutions. Any idea what might be going on? I’d be so so grateful for any advice or suggestions. My baby is miserable and I’m running low on funds ):
How is it going now? It’s always good to review All the steps you took and see what results they brought.
Also the ear cleaners and earproducts, what brands and do they have side effects, also the other medication, did it helped?
And the diet, is there anything in there that your dog is allergic or sensitive on. Dogs can also stay allergic despite being on a vetinary anti allergic kibble.
When your dog still has problems than the imunsystem needs a help, and the allergy needs to be addressed by a elimination dieth in a natural way and first the ears need to be taken care of, so you have to find a way to treat them with mild options like described on this channel. In Europa we have lila loves it ears products. And some German vets have written articles on how to help allergic dogs, I found one of the articles through the Lila loves it website. This vet said something like; first get the mites or fungus or fleas under control, or the ear infection, only then a dieth were maybe you take out grains and gluten, makes sense.
This channel has the same good information for dog allergy.
Basically the German vet said; an allergy should be addressed by dieth and keeping the ears ect healthy and the immune system needs to stay high.
So if you find out how to accomplish this, things should improve. Some dogs do well om Kangaroo or rabbit or horse or white fish. Good luck with your dog.. Oh and this vet talked about combining one of these meats with gierst or quinoa as carbohydrates. Gierst is millet and quinoa or sweet potato. Always good to be sure the dog gets a complete exclusion dieth. This might need some extra ingredients to make it complete.
@@angeliqueruis4520 everything is okay now but it was a long process before we found a solution. They took her off the cytopoint shots and gave us apoquel pills instead. It’s definitely not as convenient cause I have to remember to give her the pills twice a day but she has been fine since she started them so it’s worth it. We also were instructed by the vet to avoid chicken, beef, and turkey so we got her a grain free, salmon based food now. If I forget to give her a dose of apoquel, she will start getting hives pretty quickly but I’m doing good at staying on top of that and making sure she gets the amount she needs daily. Thanks for checking in and for all the suggestions. Will definitely come back to this comment if I run into any problems again in the future.

@@michellecardenas6072 sorry to hear that, I noticed on Amazon an ear product by the brand Alfavet Epibac Basic earcleaner with chloorhexine. The product has some good reviews, I don’t know if you have acces to that product , and can read the information.
Another good product can be collodiaal silver for dogs.
Last product I have myself for my dog also propolis.

Would ear mites have the smell of rotting flesh? My cats ear smells horrific and when she went to the vet last year they gave her antibiotics but it didnt do a thing so I dont want to waste money again.

The other is cringing up a little(but is ok)
A indoor dog Labrador outside often but not in any dirty areas (ever) plays and comes in
But after I have flea drops last season it started and got worse and worse
