Every time I look at mid 90s Leo compared the brink of 2000s Leo I always thought their was something off with his face but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Now I can’t unsee this nose job lol.
Thank goodness a few made it to older age with no or minimal surgery. Unfortunately, so many young female actors & models are encouraged to get nose jobs, injections, face lifts etc besides work to their bodies. When they start so young having procedures, it actually may speed up the aging process. Sometimes there is also pressure from friends & family.
That’s only because women are judged by their looks wayyyyy more than men… It has NOTHING to do with men’s ‘privilege’ to age naturally. It’s all society led BS that everyone believes is correct, and it’s pretty sad. In the “wild” animal kingdom, males have to impress the female with their beauty, and strength to get the female. The males don’t judge what the female looks like. Humans have it COMPLETELY backwards.
What if they are actually the cause of the problem? Starlet… They keep making them. Young faces belong to young people. That’s nature. If fantastic older female actors… Because we’re not allowed to say actresses anymore… heck… We’re not even allowed to give out awards to female acting people why male acting people… It’s just acting people. But I digress… A female acting people… Just allow themselves to age the way many non-acting female people do… We might see real faces of mature women on the screen… And actually accept them. Do you know how it is when people of color say… I never saw anyone who looked like me. So now, of course, you have women of a certain age who look at movies and TV and say… I don’t see mature women who look like me… Because they’ve all been stuck with Botox and had their skin pulled tight, and all of that. Anyway… The bottom line is anyone who has a procedure done on their face is exercising their own agency. The studio system is long dead. No one is forcing any actors to go under the knife… Or to enhance any part of their body… That’s just stuff they have internalized. How come European female actor people get to age?
Thank you, Dr Linkov. I've learnt so much about my face and the aging process from watching your videos. Do you find that excess eyelid skin/hooding leads to vision problems in older age that often needs to be addressed?
A great-uncle of mine had this. The hooding of his eyelids became so strong that it obstructed his vision. He underwent surgery to get the excess skin removed. Since there was a medical reason for it his health insurance covered the costs.
An older coworker of mine had to have a procedure done for this reason. An oculoplastic surgeon is the specialist for excess eyelid skin removal (and other eye related surgeries)
It totally can. My mom recently got upper eyelid surgery due to excessive sagging that was starting to obstruct her vision. I also recently learned that if one needs to have this surgery due to vision obstruction, insurance *should* cover the cost
You have to remember that he was born with a cleft lip and palate so he did get surgery as an infant to fix that. Maybe it would explain the changes as he got older.
How fascinating is it to realize that maybe the mostly done was a tasteful rhinoplasty ? Thank you Dr Linkov ! I’d be very curious to watch your covering of Julia Roberts too ! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hi, I'm really enjoying your videos. You're clear and direct and without any form of judgmental tone which I really appreciate. It would however be interesting and maybe more nuanced if you would mention if a certain change of look could happen due to natural aging. I'm in no way even close to an expert in this field, but I would imagine that changes in appearance that require surgery for some people perhaps could appear naturally in others. Please inform me if I'm completely in the wrong here as I'm basically just hypothesising. Thanks for the educational entertainment you're creating ✌️
From @3:30 Agreed with your assessment. I had a nose job 20 month ago and as a person with thicker skin I was told that it would take a lot longer than a year for me to see the final result. After 20 months the skin hasn't fully shrank to wrap around the new cartilage and they still swelling towards the tip and side of the nose. Also in my case an open rhinoplasty was done because the surgeon stated he needed to see the inside of the nose and couldn't get the results I wanted with a closed rhinoplasty.
I was a kid when I first watched titanic (that was my first exposure to hollywood) and I was in awe of leo's beauty. To me he was the most handsome men I had seen. Well even the most perfect faces have something done. 😂 hes still handsome.
Yeah it’s almost flabbergasting. I see many good looking ppl but ppl like Leo just have some mix of female and male features that make them look like angels
I have a small bump toward the bridge of my nose. While it bothered me once I noticed it in my early 20s, I've decided that I will never get rid of it because it's my father's, and my grandfather's nose. My sisters have way more of my dad's features, while I have more of my mother's. When people see my sister's noses and prominent cheekbones, they know exactly whose children they are. He doesn't have any biological sons of his own, and since I can't take on his name to carry on his legacy, I wear his German nose with pride, as a tribute to him. ❤

In general… If you have a time to watch a video like this on the hook up to make a comment… I bet you have a lot to be thankful for.
We all age at different rates but his appearance from 1998 to 2002 massively changed from boyish good looks, to masculine, possibly even looking older than he was at the time.
He's a really good actor. Maybe he gets his self-esteem from that rather than looking perfect and not aging. He was very attractive in his youth but really he doesn't need that to be successful. It's quite refreshing that he doesn't bother with any of that.
A good looking man with thick hair can have wrinkles etc and still look good as he ages. No need for surgery. Just hair dye is all he needs to still look youthful and even a bit of greying can be attractive. Much harder for a woman to still look good with wrinkles and grey hair.
I know video is about Leo but Doctor Gary look so different now that his eyebrows and beard is growing. It look all his face features become sharper because of it.

@@juliannar9376 interesting ! I thought the opposite because, if they use them a lot, the wrinkles become more noticeable and sooner. Some singers have forehead wrinkles at around 20 years old because they use their muscles. Personally I almost never use my forehead muscles and at almost 25 years old I am not wrinkled in this area. Like you could see a picture of him very young and one now and you can definitely see that's LDC. Those genes did 97% of the pushing. If he had a health lifestyle similar to Jared Leto he would look even better.
What kind of lifestyle does Leto have? 🤔
That’s because Leo most likely didn’t have a nose job 🙄
Continue to be amazed by the depth of your knowledge and intelligence!
Please do Rihanna next
Watching Leo age makes me want to cry 😩😩. Leonardo Is a national treasure and a talent like no other. We want him to be around for years to come. He is still a heartthrob tho😊
Leonardo DiCaprio is 20 years older than me and I'm still too old for him
😂
Don't beat yourself up he's a chomo. He would date younger then 18 if he could.
😂
@@alecwoods8680 Don't worry I'm not just pointing out how absurd the situation is
And that's a good thing. He's dating prime age girls, not some roasties.
Hi Dr. Linkov
Could you, maybe, do a before and after video of Tori Amos? I've always wondered what she had done to her face because it changed a lot at some point and I'm not sure what changed exactly. Thanks!
Every time I look at mid 90s Leo compared the brink of 2000s Leo I always thought their was something off with his face but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Now I can’t unsee this nose job lol.
new dr gary upload!! yay!
Leo in Gangs of New York was such a stud. One of my favorite movies he's in.
It's such a shame that female actors don't get the same privilege to age naturally like he has and still continue to have a career 😔
It’s all society led
BS that everyone believes is correct, and it’s pretty sad. In the “wild” animal kingdom, males have to impress the female with their beauty, and strength to get the female. The males don’t judge what the female looks like. Humans have it COMPLETELY backwards.
Yep, he's not a supermodel or anything. And has also put on lots of weight throughout different periods of his career, whilst still getting work.
But I digress…
A female acting people… Just allow themselves to age the way many non-acting female people do… We might see real faces of mature women on the screen… And actually accept them.
Thank you Dr Linkov, can you also do a video on bariatric surgery. It’s been trendy and it’d be amazing to see your insights on it.
Nice video! Do Matt Damon. He's had a hair transplant
Thank you, Dr Linkov. I've learnt so much about my face and the aging process from watching your videos. Do you find that excess eyelid skin/hooding leads to vision problems in older age that often needs to be addressed?
They can
A great-uncle of mine had this.
Leo will always be a dreamboat 😍
Thank you very much for that very genuine and interesting explanation about some of the cosmetic procedures
Brb checking to see if my eyebrows have descended
You have to remember that he was born with a cleft lip and palate so he did get surgery as an infant to fix that. Maybe it would explain the changes as he got older.
You are a good doctor, I wish you success and excellence ❤ follow u from EGYPT 🇪🇬
Yet another very interesting video, Gary! Love the detailed explanations. Thank you for all the work you put into making your videos!
Beard and eyebrows are looking great!!
You're looking great, Dr. Gary! And as always, great analysis viedo. Keep up the awesome work 👏
How fascinating is it to realize that maybe the mostly done was a tasteful rhinoplasty ?
Just the nose, I am surprised he didnt do anything more, and he locks very good.
Leonardo Dicaprio was, is and will always be the MOST BEAUTIFULLY PERFECT BEING EVER! 👑🌏👑🌏👑🌏👑🌏👑🌏
No matter if or if not, I love him 😍❤️🔥
Why are all your videos so fascinating? I can't look away and now i've gone and subscribed.
He's gorgeous.
He was really handsome only for a few years during the Titanic era when he could pull the boyish look
@@Maxxxim1You're quite wrong, objectively.
@@Maxxxim1lol idk he still got me even watching this video.
Doctor, you look absolutely gorgeous with those eyebrows 😍
We love your videos!!! Please could you please do a Rosalía's face review? Hugs from Palma de Mallorca, Spain!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Time is cruel. Dr Linkov I need the potion. Sempre viva.
Could you please do Sophie Turner?
Great video as always
A girl broke a whole bottle into his face around 2005, he sued her and she went to jail in 2016... there is almost no pictures about this incident
Glad someone mentioned this I believe he did have plastic surgery because of that.
wish you would do Jason Priestley and priyanka Chopra as well as Aishwarya rai...
Ageing beautifully and remains naturally looking very handsome ❤
To me he has always been extremely good looking. He’s aged so well.
@cassann4683 - He sure has!
Can we do Nicki Minaj next. It doesn’t look like she’s had anything done to her face other than botox or filler but I would love a professional’s opinion
😂
You haven't seen her earlier pics, have you?
@@neen42 her face looks exactly the same.
My opinion my differ alot from yours. To me it seems like Nicki has had alot of plastic surgery. Like I understood weight gain and all but she's had lots of work done to her body too. Again I could be wrong
@@Sunflowersarepretty you cannot tell me that is the same nose.
I think he looks great and is aging gracefully. I hope he's no longer smoking--not a good thing for skin or hair.
he still looks good!
Please do Tyson Beckford
Man if I looked like him I’ll be thanking god every day
well said.
Meh, I bet you still have a lot to be thankful for. Do you have 10 fingers and 10 toes? Many don’t. You see if you were to lose two fingers you might say I would thank God if I got those two fingers back. But we don’t think like that. Because we figured everyone has 10 fingers and 10 toes. In general… If you have a time to watch a video like this on the hook up to make a comment… I bet you have a lot to be thankful for.
Don't! He is a shadow of his young self :(
Yeah rarely if ever see men walking around in every day life like this. Especially older
i really chill from your videos i love it ❤
love ya
We all age at different rates but his appearance from 1998 to 2002 massively changed from boyish good looks, to masculine, possibly even looking older than he was at the time.
He's a really good actor. Maybe he gets his self-esteem from that rather than looking perfect and not aging. He was very attractive in his youth but really he doesn't need that to be successful. It's quite refreshing that he doesn't bother with any of that.
Would you review Carrot Top?
This guy looks good. I’m happy for him.
A good looking man with thick hair can have wrinkles etc and still look good as he ages. No need for surgery. Just hair dye is all he needs to still look youthful and even a bit of greying can be attractive. Much harder for a woman to still look good with wrinkles and grey hair.
90s leo was so gorgeous. peak pretty boy
I'd love to see a Kate Moss video!
I know video is about Leo but Doctor Gary look so different now that his eyebrows and beard is growing. It look all his face features become sharper because of it.
Leo looks great. I think the real way to go is anti aging stuff. Sunscreen, retinol, etc. And if you really need it maybe tiny plastic surgeries I guess although I would never do it.
I think he looks great! Handsome man at any age.
Plz do kate winslet!
Super interesting thank you! :) please can you do a video for Beyonce ? It looks like nothing happened to her face since she was 20 and I'd like to know. Thanks! 😊
My theory is singers age better because they engage their facial muscles more than most people
@@juliannar9376 interesting ! I thought the opposite because, if they use them a lot, the wrinkles become more noticeable and sooner. For example, if you sing for 2 hours every day while raising your forehead, your forehead is marked. Whereas if you never move your forehead muscles, they don't wrinkle because they are at rest. Some singers have forehead wrinkles at around 20 years old because they use their muscles. Personally I almost never use my forehead muscles and at almost 25 years old I am not wrinkled in this area. Sorry if my English is incorrect I used a translator to help me write what I wanted to say.
@@ChloeGaubert cheek muscles are used to sing, most singers arent using their forehead muscles
@@juliannar9376 Nope, it's the exact opposite. Why do you think botox is so popular in Hollywood? Because it prevents people from getting wrinkles by using the muscles of their face too much.
@@Fr0zenPeanut again, people aren't getting botox in their cheeks generally.
He is Very Handsome and Always has been❤❤❤❤❤
How is he getting his hair back i have Aloepecia i would love to know what he is doing
