@@WhatsYourFavouritePlane it does hurt quite a bit but they give you a lot of morphine to numb the pain and you end up sleeping most of the time. they made me walk the second day and i was out of hospital after 5 days and back in school after a month. it definitely hurts but it is manageable!! good luck, i hope you have a speedy recovery :)
It's for people who still have growth left. If you do this surgery to someone without growth left then you may have reduced the curve for some years but eventually it is assumed the tether will break. But yes generally this surgery is for kids and teens because they still have growing left to do.
We animated them using Maya, Houdini, After Effects. Platform? Mac & PC mixed studio. We have 28 years of experience in medical animation and we get our information from surgeons, anatomy labs, and researching the medical documentation of each and every medical device we animate.
my doctor told me they will remove your lungs and u will have to breathe differently and 1/3 chances she says that it will break and gotta get re surgery so the best surgery is spinal fusion hope this helps!
VBT is only for adolescents because they are still growing. There is a similar surgery for adults called ASC (anterior scoliosis correction) but I believe the oldest patient to receive the surgery was in their early 50s
had this surgery 10/10 would recommend fr

Hello sir...can you guide me how you make these animated vedios..??? Which platform and where you get all information about relevant topic..???

Keep up the great work. These are very good
Why didn't anyone tell me about this 8 years ago?
Is this just on one side??
How do they get past the ribs for this procedure?
They go in from the back. Its very interesting.
They go in from the side. Not the back
They go through your side but yes it is a bit crazy they can work around your ribs

Can a 73 year woman have this surgery?
You should ask a doctor for advice, not youtube comments

I would think no
