I confess to watching Mike's 'new arrivals' videos mainly to hear about the pre-orders, because that gives me the best idea about where my money's likely to go next. 😟
Younger generations don't have radio like we did pre 90s. As a kid, I would change the dial and hear 50s and 60s oldies and all kinds of music. It's not aging. Limited by the algorithm.
"Oldies" is now 80s and 90s 😬
Did anyone else find themselves "jonesing" when the New Arrivals video didn't drop around 9am EST? (east coaster here)

Thanks Mike. The Talking Heads - Stop making sense 2023 Reissue has two pressings: One made by GZ, PRC Pressing Canada and a German Pressing made by Optimal. IMO the Optimal is the better one, the Vinyl is quieter. Where is the 2024 Issue made? Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

Plagent process is for G Dead live albums recorded off the soundboard or recording section bootlegs not studios w locked in tape speeds
So it's bad to go digital

That Talking Heads has the same records, but smaller edited booklet so the original remains exclusive.
Is it the same as last year's reissue?
smaller edited booklet? hmm, so there will still be a booklet, except it will have less content compared to the one in 2023, is that right?

@@Jonny_C73 The booklet is 12 page for this 2024 edition, compared to the 28 page booklet in the 2023 2LP set. Info is on Rhino's website.
@@ranlit7717 correct. The original book was something like 28 pages, and this new pressing the book will have about half that.
Mike, you explain it pretty well, but the Talking Heads - Stop making Sense 2 CD 1 Blu Ray description is a little misleading. Can you confirm that means no video image? I may be behind the times but never heard of a blu ray of a movie that did not include the movie. Weird. IMO. Thanks!

Everybody is highly over rating that album, yes it's cool background chill music. There's a thousand albums like that.

They either think the new mixes are superior, or they are building up demand for something unique. Maybe an analog stereo box set.

You gave no consideration to the "Best of Fleetwood Mac 1969 -1974". Those are the end of the Peter Green years and the years that Danny Kirwan was in the band. Most people give this incarnation of FM almost no value, but the truth is, they made some great music and kept the name and band alive until they hit the Buckingham/Nicks years.
