Holy Crap!!! Maniacs unplugged on vinyl? I bought the laserdisc to compensate, since I thought it would never happen. LOL!!!
Dude, you should've seen me in 2016/17 buying loads of old Blue Notes because I thought they'd never be reissued!
Surely Mike has listened to The The before ? Some of the greatest albums of all time were made by Matt Johnson.The 8Os records are critically aclaimed!! He also gave us This Is The Day, Uncertain Smile, The Beaten Generation etc. etc etc. I promise, they need a listening if not.
That 10000 Maniacs performance/record is fantastic,. Highly recommend this record. I own it on CD. 'll be picking up the vinyl.
I believe it was originally broadcast on MTV then would be rerun on VH1. It seems like that's how they used to do that. MTV Unplugged was a big deal in it's time.
Found the maniacs unplugged CD at the thrift store for a dollar. Now that was good.
Joni Mitchell's Shadows and Light - Jaco Pastorious, Pat Metheny, Michael Brecker, Don Alias, and The Persuasions - along with Hejira and Mingus, on of my very favorite Joni Mitchell albums.
That was the first and only JM reissue box I bought on vinyl (own the others on CD). Those albums are all essentials IMO.
Thriller definitely sounds better if you have good speakers...
Had same experience with a jukebox in Tennessee , small diner in small town , down the road from jack distillery- had rubbish country and I found master of puppets -put on a few songs - I could see locals didn’t like it 😂😂
Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie is a fantastic album.
I was fortunate enough to find a brand new copy of the 30th anniversary of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon at Ear-xtacy record store when it was first released for around $ 30.00. I have never opened it. Thank you for the post. I appreciate the updates on new album releases. Cheers from Indiana 👍
You are missing out! If you plan to never open, then fine. However, if you are waiting for the perfect moment to open, I would push that feeling. Best to open, if a warp, or a cover stickiness, it will tend to only get worse. Not sure about offgasing, but that could be stopped if opened.

You might want to check that U2 vinyl again. That ZooTV Dublin show was ‘93 not ‘83.
I wouldnt get too excited about the Music On Vinyl Fat Albert Rotunda repress.... the standard black version sounds abit weedy and lacks depth and dimensionality. This colour version will almost certainly sound the same unless they recut and remaster (not something they are known for)
How about the new re-issue of "Hoist" by Phish on color vinyl??????

I’d like to know your thoughts on the variants (clear vinyl, coloured etc) as i feel the black vinyl sound better
Black vinyl > colored > translucent > white > clear > glow in the dark
Was hoping someone could help me I’m about to get my hands on some Analogue Production Doors need some thicker sleeves because mine would probably be too snug for the thick jackets?
The 50 micron sleeves on our website work great. I use them myself.

No the 5th one is way better than the 4th, and is a worthy successor to Last Crusade.

Always Has been! Everyone I’ve ever known, that ever had the album, skips it. Stupid song that doesn’t even Belong on the album. Doesn’t Ruin the album though

Just like I always skip “She’s Out of My Life”. More albums than not have at least one clunker. Btw “Girl Is Mine” is a much better pop song than “She’s Out of My Life”.
