Rich, I NEVER comment on UA-cam posts or write letters to the editor to the New York Times or anything like that. I'm a silent consumer 😆 But it made me tear up to see how very MUCH you love your wife. I am very grateful to you for your work, and I've seen her on your show once before, so I'm commenting before watching this in its entirety, but truly just seeing the images, seeing how proud you are of her, seeing how vulnerable you get to be with her - I want that in my marriage and I believe I have it but you are a model for me. All power and all peace to you! 💚

"Relaxation is the superpower" the wise lady say... yessssss!! I came to this realisation literally over the past week whilst reflecting on a recent setback and why I may have failed. Had I relaxed more while doing the work, the outcome would have been different. This episode was extraordinary - was hanging on Julie's every word. Thank you thank you thank you both so much.

Thank you for inviting Julie, Rich!!❤ I can resonate with what Julie has to say. Recent life experiences run me down to my knees, physically, which left me confined to crutches and scooters. One day I realized that I’ve been postponing the things I love to do, instead, I was applying all my efforts into the the career that brought me to my knees in the first place. Now, I do what I truly enjoy: spending more time with my loved ones, exploring plant based diet, painting watercolors, meditating and just simply breathing with awareness and gratitude. Thank you again for the wonderful podcast!!

Then I started crying cause I realized I’m actually very happy for you . I’m struggling way more than I thought and I’m hoping with lots of internal work I’m going to find my place in this journey called life, such as you have. Keep being your amazing selves. Thanks for helping enlighten me some today.

Ohhh Rich, I hear you! I am a 61 yr old Aussie woman who has also suffered from the older beliefs we were raised with, the conditioning that the only way is to grind!
Fortunately as I have aged I have allowed or given myself permission to think in terms of relaxation with a more gentle flow through my life. Yes stuff still gets done on time and with quality outcomes and self satisfaction. But man it is hard to change...even though we know it is what's ultimately best for us! haha, life is a journey...k

Would have loved to sit in on this conversation! As a health/life coach, I hear all the time that there was nothing wrong with my childhood experience, my parents were perfect! When one starts really looking with courage, they can feel hurts. Scenarios repeat themselves through our lives so that we have an opportunity to heal/release past hurts. It becomes like exercising a muscle when you find yourself in an all too familiar uncomfortable situation. I like to call this “Our Daily Bread” the opportunity to make different choices thereby feeling and releasing old hurts. It is a life long practice and eventually can be fun- when you recognize your triggers and make different choices. It can be hard at first then can get easier- knowing yourself better, loving yourself more❣️

Bring brave enough to sit in the divine emptiness has everything to do with one's ability to be present and grounded in one's self. If we haven't done the work, then staying busy is the only thing that ground us into the present. The bravery comes from practicing presence ✨️💖

I did a darkness retreat for 5 days. I was disappointed; didn't do anything for me. What really catapulted my healing on every level (physical, spiritual, emotional, etc.) is following Medical Medium's health protocols. Would be great if you could have him on your show. It's hard to get 4+ million followers on social media--yet he has that, because his protocols work where conventional medicine and psychological therapy fail.

I once told my son look at our new puppies (basset hounds). They grow up to be just dogs at the end. We love them tho.
Now think about the world is right now. Instead of evolving we come up with so many excuses not to do so. Some choose to even live like dogs and not even aware of it. The dog gets all the business.
There’s infinite potential to grow and learn yet some of us choose to only stick to what we already know and stay there. I was doing so well and after getting stabbed while jogging at a jogging trail, I became the same people I detest with a victim mentality. Perhaps it was a life lesson I needed to learn. I keep using one of William Blake’s quote “Forgiveness is my Religion” and there’s another one that goes like this “nothing outshines imagination.”
“Jesus did things on impulse and not by rules” is a crazy one I found out about while learning to do my own Tarot readings.
Been a longtime fan of William Blake’s work and I find it so eternally blissful and infinitely painful at the same time hehe.
