"I love making songs with acappellas like it makes it so much easier to come up with melodies and rhythms and drum patterns" okay but try "I love making songs with acappellas, it makes it so much easier to come up with melodies and rhythms and drum patterns" instead "LIKE" IS NOT A COMMA english is not my first language but it sounds dumb when ppl are talking this way in poland (where i am from) "jakby" is overused word which is polish "LIKE" stop talking like dumbass teens plz
Don't delete beats put them inna arrangement or not arrange beat folder & save em to flip em in the future, don't let any of your ideas go to waste maybe atm you can use it but with knowledge you find later might help you interpret or approach it in new way, hopes this helps happy travels in the beat making world
@@jahhjojo yeah, nah, in my case ill just end up having 100 unfinished projects. For me its if i dont finish a beat in 1 sitting ill never touch it again (unless i really like it)
I feel like the main reason of getting burnt out and getting beat block is just not having ideas and losing the creativity side to it. You gotta just keep reaching out your comfort zone and trying out new stuff
Ty Rio, you actually giving out advice to those who want to make it even when you don’t have to as a billboard producer. You go out of your way to make content to help and for that I say thank you
Bro you save me. I have been trying to make a beat for days now and I just didn't like anything that I was doing, however, after watching this video I went ahead and downloaded one of my fav dancehall acappella track and I finally finish a beat. Now I don't think I will ever have beat block again. Respect bredda
Ty for the knowledge Rio. From my experience, we just gotta start from a new place sometimes. Switch it up slightly to get a different end product. Everything here you mentioned is valuable and needs to be relistened to every now and again. The opportunity for inspiration is always closer than we think.
i had beatblock a couple of months ago, and i went online to get new sounds and i found out about you, i only knew your name but followed nick more, your melodies cured me bro, thank you im going crazy with another friend/artist right now and were working with a behringer c1, a 2015 macbook and old wooden speakers that he got from his moms house
you the goat bro, you always give out these gems expecting nothing in return that's why you'll always be blessed!!! keep up the content we all appreciate you
My dude, you really got that ice in your veins. I'm talking 4th quarter Kobe. Always fire sonics and just an endless wealth of knowledge. My fave youtube channel 💙
I was making toasts for breakfast and one of the slices fell on my phone and clicked your video. If thus is not a sign rio, don't know what else it could be
More than anything, I think it’s very cool how you weren’t afraid of addressing that people can find other ways of getting plugins if they really can’t afford them. There’s kind of this stigma going around, especially in the discord producer community, that getting VSTs without paying for them is for lowlifes or shady people. But honestly, it’s sad watching people spend every dime on software when they’re not even making money off their music yet… they could be spending all that money in different avenues to gain themselves more exposure and build their brand
Had a few remixes blow up from searching up the acapellas and putting my own spin on them & releasing the instrumentals. Definitely a different way to go with music
Can you make a yt video on what and fully done beat would look like? Everything from arrangement to mixing and everything! Just show what the beat looks like when its completely done. Even after finishing touches
quick tip, i get a beatblock a lot these days and im working on my desktop, and also i have an laptop and smhow once i get beatblock on my desktop im not having it on my laptop, so if u got a two setup try it too.
my problem is that I start a beat, and then later i run out of idea for it so I start something completely different, resulting in having a lot of beats unfinished
Love this my dude. Question - do you go by ear finding the bass notes? Also as an aside, would you say knowing how to play the keys/guitar a prerequisite for being a proficient producer?
Most of the time, it feels like my brain doesn't work. Like I'm brain dead or something. Lol but when i do get an idea/ fire ass melody, i cant lay it down like how i exacty want to because i dont know music theory so i try to do melodies by ear, but i bought your kit to try and help me out
rio's energy is unmatched, such a great guy
I love making songs with acappellas like it makes it so much easier to come up with melodies and rhythms and drum patterns
Never thought about this method before.. excited to try it soon!
"I love making songs with acappellas like it makes it so much easier to come up with melodies and rhythms and drum patterns"
okay but try
"I love making songs with acappellas, it makes it so much easier to come up with melodies and rhythms and drum patterns" instead

Listening to songs outside the genres you usually listen to/make, helps me overcome beatblock sometimes
