This tip basically was a missing puzzle piece and helped me get out of loop land and made me flesh out actual tracks where the listener stays engaged by printing and adding ‘variations’ to sounds.
I use Autotune to sing in a melody then i place the Autotune on it detached while i build the midi under it, because Autotune shows the note you are singing in real time!
I'm not a regular viewer of this channel, so perhaps everyone else prefers the camera shots, but as somebody that's attempting to understand production, especially in FL studio, him showing the screen the whole time when he's doing stuff that just seems like it should be second nature or that everyone knows is very helpful.

Another cool tip is using melodyne to extract the midi from a certain sound. Or using the bass of a sample to find the root notes of the chords
facts this is another great method
a free tip, you can use newtone to get bass notes of the chords, just drag sample there
