I had three bookcases that look identical to your bookshelves . They served us for many years they held my husband's albums. I loved the way you redid them to suit your purpose.

I would put wrapping self-adhesive paper on the window wood borders in black to match the desk, its the best choice when you're a renter.
I’ve spray painted my own furniture like a book shelf without priming it first and it’s the same material as the furniture in the video, I used matte spray paint and it hasn’t chipped at all. I do believe though it’s because I use matte spray paint and it grips differently in my opinion. But flipping furniture for others I definitely make sure to go through the whole process now
Painting those bookshelves was totally the right thing to do. They do look more expensive now. 👍👋

Have you ever tried liquid sandpaper for particle board painted furniture? Would love your thoughts on it.
Oh my word how long did that take? Back to 60s and I love it. I have bookcases just like that and they are getting a paint job. Love you guys.
In total probably took 4-6 hours for the shelves! Not too bad! the desk - 3 hours haha
I wonder if you could put an epoxy type paint over the desk? I used to clean houses for a living, nothing takes the finger prints off those types of desks. Office looks great 👍😎

Convinced to do this with my cheapo bookshelves that do the job but would really benefit the room to colorize them instead of the laminate fako wood or plain white thing .

Nice! Question.. do you ever paint the underneath or backs of the furniture you redo?? Nem get a glass cover to save your fingerprints..
i recently saw a tiktok where they swear by shellac primer on laminate and let it cure 3-5 days before paint and its scratch resistant. i havent tried yet but nice to see another option.

Hello, I have a question for you. We have a cork floor and is in need of an update with out having to replace the whole floor, could we simply just paint it? Could we just lightly sand it with a drywall pole sander and then use BEYOND PAINT to paint it and then seal it with the BEYOND PSINT SEALER? Have you ever painted a floor before? What do you think? I would Appreciate your input soooooooo much! Thank you.

With these fancy brand paints... do you need to mix them all together so it's one exact color? I haven't done my project yet but plan to use one of the paints you recommend.

I am not understanding the sprayer and paint problem. I do understand your explanation, but, the way I am processing this is: your setting was not right and paint was thin, so too much paint was sprayed on the bookcases. But then, the next day or so, you got more paint and sprayed again (over the first coat) and put a thinner coat over that. Wasn’t that just adding more paint to the first “too much paint coat”? I hope I made my question clear. Thanks! I do love your shows and end results!
What about nats and other bugs? I’ve never been able to paint outside without getting bugs in my projects finish

What did the project look like when you realized your settings weren't right- how did you know it was pushing out too much paint? Sagging? Not covering?
It didn't look bad or different - infact the coverage was great which is why I had a harder time noticing! I noticed mostly when I went through the paint super fast which shouldn't have happened!
It also seemed quite windy? Maybe that did not help with the thin paint and high settings? 🤔

When you use a spray gun to paint, you need to protect your lungs from the fine particles of paint. Even non toxic paint can harm your lung when it is an aerosol.
