Tou are a natural artist. I really mean it. You inspire me every day. I just had a stroke 5weeks ao. I spent 2weeks in the hospital. I ended up paralyzed in my left arm and hand.2weeks after staring at my 63 Comet, andwatching Rat rod bob I didn't give up. My lefthand with alot of therapy is getting better. Thanks to you I am even more driven. I look forward to making a UA-cam video documenting as a stroke survivor and to never give up and pursuing your dreams. Thanks again Always see you soon.
Don't worry about what other people say about the silver it's your truck you built it and your the one that has to drive it so build it your way and this amazing truck will turn out just as great as all your others love your work keep it up building em and we will keep watching em the ones the like the paint job and even the ones that don't LOL
I'm liking that paint job. The black makes the cherry look like an aged burgundy. The black accents give it some depth to the look as well as making it look aged. The mic is a good improvement.
Hey, Bob ... the excellent microphone, your store deserves it all. I want to tell you that each of your videos is highly anticipated by me ... I learn, and fundamentally, I have fun ... I have fun and I can rest my mind with something that brings joy. You bring joy, in difficult days Bob. That is important. The patina is really beautiful and is looking very, very, well ... unique. And I already ask your permission, to put it in my rat, Ford coupe 29 ... thanks Bob, I look forward to your videos, like a child, he hopes to go play with his friends !!! I thank you.
Black Cherry that's a good name, you got that paint effect down perfectly, take the ride to sturgis you would enjoy the full Throttle Saloon metal art work
You are correct about starting a project. My 10 year old grandsons and I decided to build a scratched and lowered rat rod riding mower. It is a Lowes MTD in the front with the engine removed and a Snapper rear engine in the back. The 14 HP from the front replaced the 8 HP that came with the Snapper. It is called the Lowes snapback and has been displayed in our local Lowes during the kids build days. It is still not done, but amazing just the same. Every year we pull it and do a little more work on it.
Calling a hell of a better than rust. I like it, gonna look great,Bob, it's nite shift season down here too, temp's still up high but without the Sun beatin down it's better, yeah that trucks comin up, Mama woulda called it Antiqueing it an she likes it to..
Bob, the audio sounds Great! The paint process is experimental and can change at any time. I miss ole Red! I'm gonna see if I can't get Waylon Wire to adopt Red if you don't get him into surgery and back in action! He is funny and brings a smile every time he's on your video's.
Like watching paint not dry LOL. Audio sounds good. Know what you mean about the heat, awful in SC also. Hey, few sweat drops in the paint won't hurt. Like your shirt too.😎
I'm really a fan of how this paint process of yours turns out Bob! Cant wait to see the truck back in one piece for the full effect! And your pep talk is 100% correct! Getting started is usually the hardest part. I just went through that process. I had a truck sitting here in a million pieces that I have not touched in close to a decade. With this move , I decided its either leaving the property under its own power , or its going away to someone else. Since the truck has been in my family since 1980 , I'm pretty attached to it. I just started on it a few weeks ago , and 5 days into it , its turn key drivable! Soon it will be my daily driver again just like when I was in high school! Thanks for the motivation Bob! Also , congrats on the microphone addition!
BOB! You looked like you were working mighty hard there! Then I realized that RED had turned my playback speed to x2 !! I was exhausted after watching that! : )
Sick lookin, tks for sharing the paint process,ur sound is great also, but poor old Red left out for a bit..keep cool no over heating ur thermostat..lol.lol. luv the color scheme
