you and gizmo have matching hair/feathers
pet goals
Okay but like- the fit slaps 😩😩😩
♥
Really do tho.❤️
I would love to own a bird one day. Not necessarily a parrot, but I really like pigeons, doves and chickens. Also, Gypsy and Gizmo are beautiful birds.
Pigeons are awesome!!
chickens are a very underrated bird
A pigeon shat on my face once ✌️😆🥲
@@Gymfinn same😟😟😍😍😍👍👍😅
@@samuelcareen5563 yes I have 20 chickens and I love them as much as my dog horse and hamster
Okay but can we talk about how great it is that you actually leave the screaming in to show people the honesty of owning parrots.
They are noisey pets it's how they express themselves so it's great you actually show this side of owning birds so people can be honest with themselves before bringing one home
Great video, Tyler!!
That’s amazing! I would really recommend putting more perches and toys towards the bottom of the cage, so that way they are utilizing the entire cage.
This makes me wanna get a bird so bad! Your care for them is amazing.
Thank you!!!!
I'll just point out that you see a very minimum of the care that goes into having a bird in Tyler's videos. Not that his care isn't fantastic, because it is, but bear in mind that birds are a full time pet and require a lot of work, just please do your research!
Check "mikey and mia" on youtube, great youtube channel, you can see what a day in the life of a bird pet owner looks like. It's a huge commitment that I would say 95% of people can't deal with, that's why they don't make good pets. Adopt one if you are willing to get one, they get re homed so much.
The way you almost fell in the beginning😂
I looked after an Amazon Green and a Hans Macaw for 2 weeks while a friend was on holiday. Funny thing is both birds became far to attached to me and it took my friend weeks to win their efection back lol. I would love to own an African Grey but sadly don't have the time 😢 .
Awsome cage 👌
gypsy: *just wants scritches and to be picked up*
tyler: ...i don’t know what to do with this
i can’t, i love parrots so freaking much, this video made me laugh so much 🤣❤️
also totally laughing hysterically at the screaming from Gizmo
Looks gr8 the bigger the better when possible to buy one, birds deserve big spaces even for like a budgie or two^^
You take such good care of your baby birds!! They are clearly so loved and it makes me so happy to watch your videos about parrots! Thank you for sharing them with us 🙏💕🎊
"But I said no because I'm awkward" SAME
take a shot every time tyler says cages lmao
Gypsy and Gizmo have been with you for years wow! I remember watching them when Gypsy and Gizmo were a bit younger lol
My dog can't read so she was very disturbed by Gizmo's screaming.
Also your outfit 😍
I cut my own natural wood perches for my lovebirds. I generally use clipped branches from beech trees or clipped bittersweet vines, both of which are bird-safe. my lovebirds LOVE the vines b/c i can wind and twist them thru different areas of the cage to make them like a lil jungle gym, they run and hop and flit and fly from branch to brance, its adorable. (they are just 2 lil lovebirds and they have a flight cage that is probably about the size of gizmos old cage (20 wide x30 long x40tall) so they have lots of room to be able to put lots of vines and still have them be able to fly from one area to another. might be a little harder to cut your own branches big enough for a large parrot tho . lovebirds are so light they can rest on pretty much any size stick or vine or twig i bring in lol
I hope they enjoy their new cages!
Great video! I’m gonna be getting a Jardine parrot soon, I’m really excited! ☺️
Reminds me of last year when I got my Cockatiel and Green Cheek Conure big new cages they can fly in and spent solid half a day putting them together with my husband
You are literally my favourite creator I love your videos so much
I used to frequent my local bird rescue almost every week to visit with the birds (they can't have volunteers for liability reasons so people who come and visit the birds are really helpful) and I encountered a lot of birds with pretty serious issues due to being cared for improperly in their former homes. I met a 35 year old amazon who had been on dowell perches his whole life and had arthiritis in one of his feet and could barely use it. It just warms my heart to see someone who takes such good care of birds physically and emotionally.
They look like they love it
Quarantine will be sooo fun with your pets!!!
My mom said that I have Tyler Rugge fever because I literally check to see if you posted any videos 20 times a day😂
Beautiful cages. I love kings cages, they are excellent quality. Thanks for sharing
Congrats on assembling those huge cages (beast mode). Your birds are blessed to have someone as caring as you.
You and Gizmo kinda match and that's adorable
The head bobbing is too funny! My lovebird used to love to go side to side with my finger… birds are weird lol
Is it just me or did everyone bop their head when they were lol
Gizmo is such a cutie and so quiet in comparison to my eclectus!!! 😂 Lol
I can’t imagine the noise 😭😅
Do you have a male or female eclectus? 😥
@@historyandmusic8646 I have a male eclectus named Teddy
@@emilycraft13 I hope mine won't turn out to be loud 😬
@@historyandmusic8646 haha maybe! He's not loud all the time though (and he's very sweet). But every once in a while... Makes your ears want to fall off
I really do appreciate the fact that you want to upgrade your birds to bigger cages and put in a lot of work to make sure they are happy. That being said these cages are way too small for the size of birds you are housing, I would barely feel comfortable housing a cockatiel in one of those. I know you have different standards of care in the US but please, birds need a lot of room to fly and exercise. No matter how much time outside of the cage you provide that is no excuse to house them in small cages. Again I really do appreciate the fact that you want to provide a good life for your animals. I hope you can take this as constructive criticism and not hate.
Agreed
They unfortunately don’t really sell cages much bigger than this here (from what I’ve seen) but I do think the time spent mostly outside of the cage is important! I’d love to keep them outside in an aviary but it’s just too cold most of the year where I live 😅
Thank you for being able to give this opinion without being rude or hateful, it's truly appreciated because some people are so rude. I really wish aviaries were more feasible in colder climates, as well
@@tylerrugge Try looking into the montana arkansas II, it should be available in the US and it‘s nice and big for a reasonable price. Other than that you could get a custom aviary made; I don‘t know what the prices are like in the US but here they usually end up the same or a cheaper price. I know the cage sizes seem unimportant when the bird is outside for most of the time but from my expirience it makes such a huge difference because even if they have be caged for a bit, they don‘t mind it as much and with more room in the cage, it stimulates them to fly more since they have the space :)
@@tylerrugge Thank you for being able to take criticism in such a graceful way, it really says alot about your character. We have the same problem with commercial cages here in Sweden. I am adopting my first bird in a couple of weeks, after years of actually working with birds. You have to learn how to work and build for yourself. I have found that it is actually cheaper, safer and sometimes even easier to build your own cages and aviaries than it is to buy them. As for it being too cold to keep them outside, here in Sweden it is most likely just as bad as you get it. The birds I work with still go outside and most of them freefly still. Of Course they are not outside as much as they are in the warmer part of the year but they can handle surprisingly low temperatures. Although macaws tend to be pansies when it comes to cold and even though they are fine they still like to complain as parrots do.
I loveeeee this cage wow! So pretty! 😭❤️
Gizmos shouting set off my lovebird 😂😂😂
That cage is awesome! Love your matching green feathers!!!👍🤗
Your such an icon ⭐️
Yes
11:50 I find this so funny
Tyler: I'm no excited to give Gizmo a new cage! isn't that right Gizzy?
Gizmo: *slowly backs away*
Bruh the delivery guy RLY said EFFF this! And dropped a WHOLE pallet off, too!! Lmaoo xD side hustle 18 a pop down town :ppp
My African Grey has a King’s corner cage and it’s great. The cage is gray like the ones in the video, which is perfect because so many cages are white or dark charcoal/nearly black, showing every speck of food, dander and poop. Gray cages are so much better at muting that. I didn’t realize it until I got mine.
Tyler I suggest you train your macaw to be a free flyer it will relive all the tension and make the bird in a much happier mood all of the time.
(FYI I am new to this channel I don’t know if your bird is a free flyer or not just some advice)😁🤓🤓🤓
pleaseee that cage is literally so seggsy, i'd love to get a huge flight cage for my budgie one day (with proper bar spacing of course lol)
I love the cage but I would just say that you should be careful with the threads because there could be the risk that your bird gets a cloth impaction of it gets stuck in loose threads. Also you should get more shredding and foraging toys to mimic what they would do in the wild.Last make sure the diet is pellets 60%, veggies 30%, and fruits 10%.
You should add more toys and perches on the lower part of the cage
Caitec stainless steel cages are also nice.
Your bird breaks the sound barrier 🤣
when u said loud bird screaming i should have listened
I love the cage!
i was not prepared for the bird screams
Happy new bird cage day🥳
Gizmo and Tyler bopping their heads is me at the club
I would love to have a bird but my anxiety cannot handle the constant noises/screaming 😭 I’ll live my bird dream vicariously through your videos! 😂
You should watch his pigeon video haha
It's summer here
I love how you were just vibing with gismo
Gizmo loves chaos
I like that necklace you were wearing and that green hair is cool.
Hello, does anyone know what the minimum cage size for a pigeon should be?
You should order pet items off wish and laugh at how crappy they are lmao
THANK YOU. I NEED A NEW CAGE FOR MY MACAW AND AM BUYING THAT EUROPEAN STYLE ONE. THANK YOU TYLER YOU SAVED ME OVER A HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS!
we love goth bob the builder. 😂 the cage looks great!
What size cage is the one for the severe macaw? Would a a cage of 63’h by 22”d by 26”w be big enough for a severe macaw?
I hope you reach a MILLION SUBSCRIBER!!!!!
u both look good ❤️
Where was Gypsy in this video? (Sry if I just missed it). Also this has to be my fav video youve ever uploaded! The parrot youtuber community is small enough and I never see cage content itself. Thnxs for the awesome content! Keep it up!
Can you please do a care video on Brown anole lizards!?!?!?!
I love birds. I also love not having a bird. This video has reaffirmed these feelings 😂
You have such pretty cute birds 🐦
Nice parrot😎
kings cages are some of the best ever
Just used your code and bought my cage. It's still good!
Is hexagon shaped cage good for birds? Or are they used to square shaped cages?

My favorite part is when you were talking to Gizmo for so long😂

What model/name is the new cage?
BIG FAN
What model is that? Trying to get one.
I love your birds
do you know if they ship to canada???
Where did you found a green macaw?
Where did you find breeders for the smaller macaws or mini macaws? Most places are ify or look like scams. Any reputable breeder or someone you recommend for mini macaws?
So I love looking at others birds, And I'm questioning how my 3 birds 2 of which look normal than my 3rd bird has White and Grey Feathers although hes said to be a blue bird and barely has blue?
@@Dragoevo2 Parakeets
My bird cage is out side in our backyard and my window is right there so I open my curtain and he always sees me is this bad should I bring his cage inside
I'm going too try and make a cage
You should donate your old cages to a parrot rescue
hiii does anyone know if birds of this noise level would stress out other reptiles/mammals if they were housed in the same room? asking for my own pets benefits 🙂
Love the vids man keep it up👊
Hey hon I love your channel you're so good with your birds.. I know a plucker parrot in need of a loving home I was wondering if you could help with any resources or advice!
What kind of macaw?
