The 2023 Kink Whip XL is a good bmx bike based on value. The XL version has a 21" toptube and 9.25" bars. Aside from that, everything is the exact same as the normal Kink Whip.
Kink Whip XL One of our most popular models, the Whip, is also available in an XL 21” toptube size. This beast is constructed using full 100% 4130 chromoly throughout the entire frame, fork and handlebar set. Complimenting this strong, durable structure are sealed bearings everywhere; headset, bottom bracket, and both front and rear hubs. Both wheels are laced up with Mission Mylar rims, giving this bike double wall rims front and rear. Topping off all the great functionality, the Whip XL comes in a Matte Sedona Red colorway.

Just turned 50 a few weeks ago. I checked this bike out today at the local BMX shop in El Salvador. I'm 5'11, weigh 220. I'll be purchasing this bike this week since I've been wanting to get back into riding bikes like i used to in the late 80s. I'm excited to get back into the sport.
Right off the bat, I'll be changing the sprocket, tires, chain, and eventually the cranks, pedals. I'm looking forward to customizing the bike.

I ride the BSD Raider frame in 21.6 and i believe they offer it in 21.8 also. I'm 6'1", Frame size is mostly riding style and preference but there are a lot of options. Bsd safari and raider are all tall rider friendly with huge variety of top tube lengths.

I give the 22 Kink Whip XL an 8.25 for MTB trails. At least flow trails. prob a 9 if you upgrade the rims, tires, and pedals, and switch to a spline drive front sprocket.

Yes, but typically if you weigh over 200 pounds the components that come with this bike since they’re not aftermarket won’t last a really long time
