Why are aftermarket parts so important? If they make parts in house at a better quality then the aftermarket parts. Would that not cut costs by removing the middle man?
Im 6'6 and ride the 2022 Kink Cloud im 230lbs only thing I question is what is that noise is in my drive train Id say maybe I should get a 48 spline 3 pc. the tires on this are slick and have very little grip in offroad uses stick to the streets. Very strong bike and very easy to manual. I needed to upgrade my pedals I went with the Raceface Chester's.
Douglas, my 13 year old is just getting into the sport. He is 5'4 and 155lbs and just starting to sprout:( want to get him into a quality (and sturdy) option. Most of your reviews that I have been watching seem to lean me in the direction of the Kink Whip. If you were going to do early upgrades, what would the priorities? Thank you
I tend to lean towards the whip because the components are good enough quality to not need upgraded right away, vs something like cult control I’d say get the double wall front rim, better chain etc. since he’s 5’4 he might like smaller bars on the kink whip and personally I’d say new tires bc I don’t like the sever tires, maybe pegs and hub guards if he wants to grind :)
