    Just an fyi they say to remove the clean out plug every once in a while to prevent it from getting stuck. I started removing mine after every outing because I noticed it holds a little bit of water. I also was told to spray it with silicone every now and then to prevent sticking!

      Hey Jake! Good tip, yeah I was told too to store it with the plug out. Love the tip to spray with silicone! Thanks!

    Thinking of getting an AR190 also. Do you wish you would have bought the AR210?

    do the 2 metal drain plugs hang like that when open? if so that is awesome, because I can see myself losing them if they can come off lol

      P JB yeah, it makes it easy that way! Yamaha has thought of a lot of little things in the design. Well thought out.

    I wonder if the rudder will dig in when beaching.

    I'm really contemplating getting an ar195 or sx195. The only thing holding me back is the engine noise. I have not heard them in person . How bad is engine noise in your opinion.

    How do you feel about size with everyone onboard? We’re torn between the 190 and 210. Do you wish you had more space or has it been suffice? Thanks!

      If storage allows, I’d do 210 with the twin motor

    I have an AR195 and was wondering if you have a tough time docking the boat at slow speeds? I recently bought a thrust vector to help with low speed maneuverability.

      Hey, so when I first took it out I did notice a difference at slow speeds from the previous boat I had that had a prop, yeah. Nothing all that difficult but it takes some practice I’d say. Yeah like you I read a lot too about the new 2021 Low Speed Thrust Vector and just bought one and received it as well!

    Could you do a video on how to hook the rope in the boat for towing? Thanks

      I will definitely! Great suggestion! Can’t wait for the weather to warm up.

    Is it recommended to have the battery switched to “off” whenever the boat is out of water? Nice video and good looking boat!

    • @yamahaboatguy8941
      @yamahaboatguy8941  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Marco, yeah I switch it to the “off” or red position when I’m storing the boat and put on a battery maintainer to keep it charged. If you don’t, the boat will be running a few systems off the battery and drain it down over time a lot faster than if it’s “off”.

      @@yamahaboatguy8941 Sounds good! after seeing your video I switched mine off but I haven’t put a battery tender on it. It’s been a few weeks hopefully I have no issues when I try to run it.

    How did you hook up the tow rope? it looks like you tied it to the center transom cleat. What is the knot used in that cleat?

    I know the motor isnt broke in yet but what kind of top speed are you seeing with the family in the boat? You are lucky to get one, I've been waiting 4 months.

    • @yamahaboatguy8941
      @yamahaboatguy8941  4 роки тому +1

      Jake Woolard hey man! So I’m actually through the break-in period at this point because it was to stay under 5000 rpm for first 30 minutes and then under 6000 rpm for the next hour. After that, it’s good to go. I’ve had the fam and haven’t actually gone for a top speed at this point because the lake level has been really low and we’ve been playing it cautious on these first few outings to get to know the boat better. I haven’t really even full throttled but I did get up to 35 mph with the fam for a short bit with a little more power to spare. I’ll have to do it on the next outing though. Hope your wait is over soon!

      Hey man! It lists on the Yamaha site at $33,549, everything’s included, unlike a lot of other manufacturers.

    What’s the top speed on that boat?

    How is the noise level with your family? I have outboard deckboat and it’s very quiet. Considering a yammie but wonder if the noise will get tiring? What boat did you come from prior to this one? Thanks and great videos!

    • @yamahaboatguy8941
      @yamahaboatguy8941  3 роки тому

      The noise level is a little louder than my previous Bayliner Element e16 but it hasn’t been a problem. All depends on what you’re looking for but it’s a great boat for the value!
