Hi i want to create a Tasker profile which plays a media file when my phone battery reaches 90% when charging. By using battery level I can achieve that but when the phone is not charging and the battery falls from 100 to 90 that file again plays. I have added another condition usb plugged but then it doesn't play even while charging. Please suggest a solution

Hi can u help i am trying to create a profile wchi disables the proximity sensor when i use whats app because the sensor is buggy and my screen turn off when listen to voice message.
Proximity sensor can't be disabled with Tasker. At least as far as i know. There may be a way to do it with adb WiFi. Try asking in the r/tasker subreddit.

My phone's Google Dialer has a call recording option, but to record calls I have to tap the record button each and every single time, which is literally annoying, so can I use Tasker to do this for me every single time? If Tasker can thn what's the procedure to do this?
AutoInput plugin. Use the *UI Update* event to detect when the button is visible on screen. Then create a task to tap that button with AutoInput action.

A phone with flash really. Should work with any phone.
Pretty sure your phone needs to have a gyroscope for this feature to work.

I get sms messages with job offers (loan signings). I am required to hit accept - can I set tasker up to do this. If so how do I set it up?
Yep, you need AutoNotification plugin for this to listen to notifications. Create a profile with the AutoNotification listener event and select the notification that has the accept button.

I am beyond lost on this app.. would you be able to explain to me here or make a video of how to make a custom alert to play a certain sound when a special word is mentioned?
1. Save an mp3 of the alert in a folder.
2. In tasker, go to *Task* tab > tap plus button to create a new task > tap plus again to add a new action > search for *Media Play* and tap to add it
3. Tap the magnifying glass icon, find and select your mp3
4. Go back > tap and hold the task > tap the pencil icon to rename it > rename it to your special word
5. Save it then tap the tick icon to save changes.
6. Now just say "Ok google, run _[special word]_ in tasker" (where [special word] is what you renamed the task to) and it will run the task.

When I say ok google run (special word) it opens tasker and I hear the sound effect play when tasker opens, but I am still not getting the push notification when I run the app that I want the special sound to come from
For example, the alert I want the sound from is coming from a app, and the app sends me the push notifications. Do I need to include the apps name in the command when I say ok google ?
@@yokai2299 if the notification is supposed to come from an app, that becomes complicated. I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to do but you'll have to either look for the app's activity or an intent if it can trigger that notification and include it in your task.
The task i explained above is only playing a locally stored audio file that is not tied to anything.
@@Grabster there’s a app I use called HAL. Sometimes I’ll miss the notification it sends so I wanted a special sound to play when the word cosmic would appear - that way even if I didn’t physically see the notification, I would hear a different sound other then my default text tone sound
How could I check the apps activity in tasker and intent ? I checked for guides online but they were not that helpful.
@@yokai2299 that makes more sense. You need the AutoNotification plugin for this to monitor your notifications and trigger your task containing a sound to run.
