Tasker is one of the most useful apps ever made! I don't know why it is such a secret! (all that fancy intro and SIMLPLY is misspelt!!!)
Didn't even notice that haha thanks

@@notenoughtech yeah... this is what i was looking for. Thank you so much. Sadly i can't find it on Bang good.
Hi, I have a bit of an unrelated question.
I am very new to Tasker. I am trying to create a function that can kill an app and then launch it. So I created the widget, but once I am in another app (not on my home screen), the widget no longer stays on the screen. How can I make it stay on the screen? If I can't click on it, I can't have it perform the actions.
Thanks!
You want to look into overlays. They can be displayed on top of your apps. Look at the scenes tab
Can we pair a new device through tasker(I am not talking about connecting to paired device ) . I am searching how to do this but couldn't any way .please let me know if you know how to do this .
I don't believe so. If anything you'd have to look into intents
Holy sh*t, I try to find a way to if I want something happened after I pressed something in the menu, because before I don't know how to do it, even I ask in reddit/r/tasker, no one responded, so after some time, I started to use intent to send what I want to do in the menu, but in you video, I know I can use perform task, I just...... why I didn't know this.
Sometimes things are hidden in plain sight
I've got one for Mat, tasker on a Samsung S20 ultra. I need to automatically press 'pair' on a Bluetooth system pop up when my Pokemon catcher Bluetooth device is trying to connect (pairing started from the Pokemon app). Any way to a) auto click the particular pop up? And b) condition of it being the specific device id? Or c) condition of when the game is open? Thanks
Easiest way is to use autoinput. You can easily detect new notifications (or pairing request) with Tasker already then this happens you can query the screen with AutoInput and get all buttons. This will include the pairing options. Then simply select the button to press and confirm pairing
Bo ive been trying to automate qpython scripts and tasker is way to complicated.
Have you considered working in tandem with NodeRED? I do most of my heavy lifting with NodeRED while Tasker becomes a light automation client
"thing" you say?
yeah - its definitely a thing
