Thanks for watching. Let me know if your little one is using a pincer grip or what activity you find the most helpful.

Hi Emma, my baby is 12 months old and she doesn't put things in her mouth even the finger foods, is it normal or should I be worried?

My little girl could pincer grip at 6 months old , she would grip a string that was hanging infront of her with them 3 pincer fingers, even when the strung was swinging she woukd stop the syrung with one fringer and then pincer it. She's been crawling from 6 months , pulling up from about 7 months, crusing and walking pushing toys from 8 months. She's 13 months now and oy stands for a few seconds on her own, or walking holding one of my hands. But then she's very good at putting a xylophone stick through the hole that the stick sits in (11 months) the hold isn't much wider at all than the stick . She also puts the stxik thoigh the hols that the wooden shaps are on andother stick.
I'm needing advice on how to get to stand on her own and walk on her own. She tends to stand on her own not using anything to lean on when playing, she doesnt relise she's standing on her own while shes holding onto toys playing.
I feel like it will come to her when she gets more confidence. I'm sick of other people saying "ohhh she's not walking on her own yet, she uses your hand" .
I feel her fine motor skills are very advantage.
Thank you for all your help

Great information! I watched every one of your video. I didn't know the string needs to be presented vertically because they can't turn their wrist.. thanks for sharing!
