All the Pac12, Mtn West, WCC, Big Sky, Big West, WAC and anybody else they want to invite, ALL need to sit at one table and figure out who wants football (FBS, FCS), basketball and D1 or D2. Then make a plan with 3 or 4 conferences. It's the only way they will all survive the dictatorship of the SEC /BIG10.
You do realize that FCS are D1 schools playing D1 football just at AA level not A level. D1AA schools are not D2. Now non football schools should be relegated and removed from D1 standards and status and either placed in NAIA or D2. Also non football D1 conferences should not be D1 and eligible for D1 athletics’ championships because they are subsidized by the football schools and unfairly and unjustly. I know what I am talking about. It’s why Gonzaga is getting full share of whatever media revenue deal the new PAC gets as a G6 because the other schools have made it abundantly clear not interested in subsidy for Gonzaga plus partial share of media revenue that the PAC may get because it doesn’t make financial sense to do that. I agree with you about these western universities and conferences need to decide who is going to be a legitimate D1 conference and who is not and decide who is going to be D1A and D1AA football or have football and who is going down or whatever.
@@michaelwall3393 I'm old school and still think as D1-A, D1-AA, D2, D3. Way, way before when I played it was NCAA University (big boys) and College (little guys) and then the NAIA (with their 8 semester eligibility rule).
Although that may be a very big possibility, I don’t think the BIG12 presidents collectively feel that UNLV is a priority, especially in football. I would see Memphis as significantly more of a priority because of its geography and more desirable viewership. Most of the BIG12 presidents want to expand eastward because they currently lack eastern teams. Plus Vegas, is pretty much open to all conferences when it comes to tournaments and events based off generated money for these venues.
wonder if you would still be interested in ACC membership for WSU/OSU if they were earning 30% share like Cal & Stanford?
Cheers from right down the Columbia river from Lake Chelan in Brewster🍻 liking the content good sir
New Mexico State + PAC = PERFECTION
New Mexico State + MWC = PERFECTION++
Hard no.
Does Tate know all the good basketball teams left the pac 12 are left with Oregon State and Washington state lol 😂
