That is correct. We supported Death on a one-month Eurpoean tour in the fall of 1993. I'm glad you like the video. I'm working on editing clips from this footage for a few more Manic Impressions songs. I still speak with John (Emery) often. Kevin has a local band doing 70s & 80s covers. Mike Owen is living in San Diego, CA and still records/plays/tours often with bands in that area. He was in a band called MOWER and is on at least one CD, but I'm not sure if he is still with them.
I missed the Death tour in '93, Anacrusis was my main reason to go there... but I had the chance to see the orig. lineup at KEEP IT TRUE festival in 2010. Awesome gig, you kickey my ass and I enjoyed it!! Every time I see me on the DVD standing 1st row compendates missing the Death tour 🤘
Download the completely re-mixed version of the album for free from the official Anacrusis website! That is where the audio for this clip is taken from.
I hope you get this response. Thx, Gibsonlvr. I still listen to Anacrusis a lot, and more knowing that Ken is still backing up his music and words from 18 years ago makes me remember just how much the music from Reason and Manic meant to me, and how much it means to me now. I hope that you listen to the other Anacrusis stuff, from "cheffboy"s (Kenn's) links
I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a reunion or any new Anacrusis music, sorry. I do plan to edit several more songs from Manic similar to this clip. I want to make lots of videos and audio stuff available for anyone still listening to the band. Check out the new website... anacusis dot us
Kevin's playing around St. Louis in his cover band Johnny Rock-Itt (John was in the band too until a couple months ago). I recorded some music called Cruel April a while back. Paul has been gigging with his old local band Megalith. Chad Smith was playing with GZR (Geezer Butler's band) and I'm sure he's keeping busy somewhere at the moment.
amazing anacrusis was as dream theater pink floyd and faith no more my 4 favorite bands. and Im still dont believe that ken nardi is talking to us,and still loving and making good music, listen to alittle light from cruel april is amazing
Us screw up live? Never! haha Maybe we were just trying to fit more songs into our short set by having half the band play one while the other half played another? :-)
Also, I'm not 100% sure, but I have 3 songs posted on the Anacrusis website that were recorded at one of the shows we did in Holland, but I'm not sure if it was the show you were at. If you were there the night we played "Butcher's Block", that was the show, because I believe it's the only time we did anything from Suffering Hour on that tour.
This is just one of those tracks that just didn't work well as a recording. Live (I was there!), Something Real was thundering, crushing, and yet still beautiful. Why I love the music of Anacrusis 18 years later.
Chad Smith was the drummer in Anacrusis from 1991-1992 and is featured in this clip. He is NOT the same Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Anacrusis' Chad Smith has also more recently played in GZR, Geezer Butler's solo band.
o ok, but y do ppl still care/listen to an infamous band who broke up 20 years ago? actually that was a semi-stupid quetion, i take that back, its actually pretty decent music considering its not my style

Criminally underrated band; I always thought a great tour line up would’ve been ANACRUSIS, DBC & Realm 🤙🏻 thanks for the download and taking me back.
Seen you guys last night. Was a good show. Second time I ever seen my boyfriend get all fanboy.

You're welcome. I'm working on eventually editing similar clips for a few other Manic songs. Stay tuned!

Anacrusis rules!!! 🙂
Inexplicablemente muy poco agraciados o "desconocidos!! ANACRUSIS FOREVER!
This was always one of my favorite songs. I was wondering if it was lyrically inspired by "Drift" by Dawn Crosby's band, Fear of God?
R.I.P to dawn. She was from my area in Annapolis Maryland.
haha yep and thanks.
what does chad smith have to do wit this?
