yooooo! this is legit one of the best-explained videos on metal carbonyls. truly a blessing to have come across this video and your channel. thanks a million!! :)
This video of yours is by far the best, very well explained.. i really appreciate that you always give so much information about the applications.. I'll definitely give a read to that article. Thanks.
Hats off to your efforts... As soon as I get the bell notification I start preparing further... watch every video of yours. Very helpful. Thankyou so much.
watched till the end , really nice especially the second application, i am watching your lessons at the rate of 4 to 5 hrs a day since the exams are very near and thanks for such good videos.
Thanks for the video.....i watched till the end...I found your page recently i.e. 10 days if I found earlier then I definitely cracked the jrf...I got only 82 and belongs to obc...I am eagerly waiting for June..with the help of your videos I definitely will crack...
I watched this vedio till the end...and it took more than 1 hour for me to understand and copy in my notebook..thankyou sir ..nice explanation..happy new year..
At 14.30 you said that because of the back bonding only the CO bond gets affected, not the M-C bond. But because of the back donation M-C bond will get stronger and shorter and M-C stretching frequency will increase. Clarify me if I am wrong.
By this he doesnt mean that M-C bond doesnt get affected it will affected ..he meant that we are considering here CO bonding and ir spectra..that dependa on only CO bond strenth...he wanted to get our attention towards CO strengtha not of M-C strenth
oh god.. i just found ur channel.. just 3 more days for june 17 net xam.. i prepared sumthng from notes.. but if i watched these videos it wud hav been ec for me.. if i watch these sure i'l crack december 2018..
Sir u hv told k during back donation there would be no effect on metal carbon bond only carbon oxygen bond affect ...but sir when bond change from single to double or in carbonyl triple to double then bond order also affect so some where bond lengths also affect
Thankyou Sir..did watch till d end... u explain really well... my concepts regarding this is cleared as i couldnt solve a ques related with this earlier on.
Nice concept... But sir ist you said that if the metal donate a pair of electron to C the bond order dec but after that you said the metal donate e the bond order inc... Confusion
Gate chemistry sir i am trying to solve questions from huheey. Can u suggest where can i chk for the solutions.. i am not sure if i am solving them correctly
what is toughness of this time question than june. in both time PHYSICAL is very easy. but this time inorganic and part a is slightly tough than 17 june . what is your opinion. sir please reply.
Sir, Is there any dependence of number of CO ligand present on stretching frequency of C=O bond?? I hope if number of CO increases then the effect of back donation to pi(*) will distribute to all the CO bond and hence the affect will decrease.
Hi sir I have a question regarding nucleophile ,basically nucleophiles are divided into 3 type 1) species with negative charge. 2) species with lone pair of electron. 3 ) species with multiple Bond, in electrophile also three types, 1) species with positive charge 2) species with Delta positive charge , my question is why we only take Delta positive as a electrophile and why we don't a delta negative as a nucleophile ? Because my teacher said only be categorised nucleophile by this 3 I am asking you sir this is right or wrong?
yooooo! this is legit one of the best-explained videos on metal carbonyls. truly a blessing to have come across this video and your channel. thanks a million!! :)

Thanks a lot, u have cleared my great confusion and also made this topic easier.
Why do carbon and oxygen form triple bond? How many lone pair of electron do they each have? What happens to lone pairs of oxygen?
Thank you so much sir...really helped a lot in understanding the concept of metal carbonyl bonding clearly and thoroughly
Very useful to students ,., thanks alot
