its not really possible, this is theoretical and the probability of this seed existing and the runner who rolls it having the skill and getting the luck to complete it anywhere near this fast is essentially zero
@@JarmezGD I get that but there are seeds out there with near perfect setups and I have a slight feeling if they were to attempt breaking the "setup" speed run world record after watching this video, they could break it. this also helps other viewers with ideas they might not have thought of/perfected

I know of only two official runs that are shorter than this proposed time:
An AI, Glitched, Set Seed Speedrun that was ~24 ingame seconds.
A glitched, Set Seed, Time Travel Speedrun that was ~2.5 ingame seconds.
This video is only for RSG, so those strats won't work here. But those runs are cool af, haha

@@Ciurk yep. He basically froze time by unloading and reloading specific chunks so that the ingame recording literally was spawn-nether-overworld-end-credits.
This video is one of the BEST videos I have ever seen. I’ve never really been interested in speedrunning but have watched enough to understand the basics and the speerduner lingo but this video is so entertaining, educational, SO well edited and altogether a masterpiece.

you forgot the rare 12 eyed portal but i can generate next to a spawner with some string but you can spawn in dessert with a singular tree get 1 piece break 3 dead bushes carft your bow but a skelenton got killed by a bush so you get a arrow and fall in the portal (that is exposed to land) craft your bow and suddenly the dragon perches and you use the one shot method to beat the game in aproximatly 16.76 seconds
It doesn't work like that... You need either pearls, or blocks or a boat, or vines to omeshot

Yea watch the fastest set speed run where the runner digs down to the stronghold, gets a bow and arrow from a skeleton, and one shots the dragon. Also in this run I think the record was 54 seconds (I could be wrong maybe it was more) so it would be faster than this
12 eyed portal can only spawn if you enter the seed manually, natural generation does not allow you to see such portals, they are so rare

Average speed Runner: beats the game in 5 hours or less
Top set seeds, speed runner players: proceeds to beat the game in less than 10 minutes

this completely random dude: beats game in one sitting at a stunning time of 100+ hours
I feel like instead of a warped forest, you could spawn in a ssv for divine and have soul speed gold boots instead of the gold helmet to make nether travel even faster

@@fox_four I dont know if you were suggesting this, but soul speed is not a possible enchantment for boots that spawn in a ruined portal, you could however get soul speed boots from the bastion chests. Also if we're relying on sheer luck to get a portal room blind, what's the point of divine?

Fun Fact: This is faster than the current 1.16.1 SSG WR which would mean that SSG runners are going to switch over to this seed if this happens. It also means that the RSG WR would be faster than the SSG one.

The best theoretical speed run is a perfect seed run. It could theoretically generate as part of a random seed.

Here’s my idea. You’ll need a woodland mansion, ruined portal, stronghold with a 12 eye portal, ablacksmith and ravine to the stronghold, destroying the floor of the mansion.
The ruined portal needs (which is ruined portal6) to be in the woodland mansion, which is insanely rare.
The woodland mansion will need to have a obsidian cage room, and the cage room will have to overlap with the portal, destroying a block of crying obsidian and replacing it with obsidian.
The blacksmith needs to be cut off except for 1~2 blocks of lava, so the lava will flow and the mansion will catch on fire, and eventually the portal.
So a naturally spawning nether portal, technically possible.
The ravine leads to the portal rooms of the 12 eye of the stronghold.
The runner needs to trade with piglins via loot, afore mentioned.
Get three or more pearls from the piglin.
Get a looting 3 sword from the bastion chest
Get a silk touch pickaxe from the bastion chest.
then, from that teleport with a portal to the nether fortress onto the blaze spawner.
kill blazes.
get blaze rods with the looting sword.
kill a ghast and get a ghast tear
Teleport back to the nether portal.
Go through.
Mine the glass from the obsidian cage.
Jump down to the end portal.
Craft an end crystal (which also will require getting a crafting table)
Go into the end
Use the dragon despawn glitch with the end crystal.
Throw a pearl and explode the end crystal, which launches the pearl faster.
Have it perfectly land in the end portal.

the last strat is also quite unrealistic- theres no way any1 wld be able to perfect such a strategy, let alone use it in such a high stakes speedrun

Agreed. Also, considering it's a random seed, how does the player know where to build the portal? Most (I think, I'm not a speed runner) calculate the position of the portal instead of going to a "random" spot

honestly i think it would be faster to spawn next to a ravine that leads to a 12 eye portal room with a skeleton inside which you can push into lava and pickup the bow and an arrow then hop in the portal, hope for the dragon to perch in 11 seconds, and win
well the perfect speedrun would just be a TAS which at the moment is 20s

I'm pretty sure no speedrunner will just randomly go to some place in nether hoping there is an end portal with 4 eyes on the other side. At this level you can include time skips like less trading with piglins because player will break their chests and get crossbow with arrows, teleport at these random cords, get a seed with 12 eyes in portal, kill dragon even faster. And we're not even taking in account set world seed, current record on 1.12.2 is 53 seconds. And that's even without TAS, which is much faster.
With absolutely perfect luck, however, the end portal can have all 12 eyes filled, so you dont need to get blaze rods,. Also, there is one version of the oneshot technique that has to happen on the ground, away from the fountain, but it depends heavily on RNG and is extremely hard to pull of, but only takes like 10-15 secs (someone actually did this and got a 58 second IGT in the below 1.9 category)
Due to the way world gen works, it’s impossible to get a 12 eye portal before 1.18.1+. They exist, but cannot be found in random seeds, only by manually typing seeds in

some extra info because there is a lot of missing stuff on here.
due to how rare a perfect RP (ruined portal) entrance, a perfect fastion, and a perfect blind (spawning in the portal room with enough eyes), will be so rare that even playing for tens of years you will get no such rolls. and also the fact that this method of oneshot will probably never be consistent because of how oneshot works, pulling such run, playing perfectly and performing an almost impossible oneshot, will probably never happen (unless this oneshot method becomes consistent, we learn perfect divine travel and allow to run filtered multi instancing that helps with loading RP seeds, or just learning faster strats, and even with those it will take years) .
so a more possible category breaking run will be (this will still take a bunch of years, with the current rules and metas):
almost "perfect" ruined portal entrance: ~15 seconds
spawning in a fastion in bottom housing \ a double triple (with only 10+ obby, stuff for normal oneshot, fire res and pearls), highrolling blazes \ getting a looting swprd, blinding on an ocean exposed portal room\ in a cave where the stronghold is visible ~120 seconds
getting an insta perch and doing a standard oneshot ~40 seconds (im not 100% sure)
175 seconds and some margin for errors will put the somewhat possible yet super unlikely category killer run at 3 minutes but it can maybe go a bit lower

Normal oneshot can actually be done in around 36 seconds, portal entrance can be 5 seconds faster, but you are right bout most things, but the run I showed could hypothetically happen, but is very unlikely like you said. That's why it's the theoretical limit, haha. Great points though

My answer before watching the video:
Whatever the set seed WR time is, because all you need is to get lucky and hit the seed used for the best time that is currently known
The end portal can have 12 eyes of ender meaning you dont have to go to the nether
The problem is that that would no longer be a normal run, as any normal run would not know the location of the end portal or that the portal is full
@@admin-ji2pu This run already skips the 'locating the stronghold' step and relies it to be a 4-eye. We're not talking about a human limit here, it's rerolling for a perfect seed, may as well make it a 12-eye.

It could in theory be faster if the end portal was already lit, although chances of that happening are so low that there might not even be a world where both this and your speedrun could coexist.

The fastest set seed run is under a minute, its a 12 eye seed where you spawn right above the stronghold, and you grab a pickaxe from a chest to kill a skeleton, they you 1 hit the dragon with the bow you get from the skeleton.

Now we just need a TAS and the ideal seed.
theres 1 thing i noticed that would save an extra 3-5 seconds. When waiting for the nether portal animation to load, the speedrunner should throw down an item, which will load the chunk in the dimension that your going to.
If we are talking about the fastest possible speedrun in theory, it will be the faster if the End portal already has all 12 eyes of Ender inserted into the portal blocks. Its VERY rare but it happens. Some people say it happens in 1 of 1e12 seeds. There is a website that generates these seeds.
Idk if there is one but there should be a category where the speedrunner can build the world exactly the way they want and beat it. Standard Minecraft rules should be followed like blazes can only be in Nether fortresses and chests can only contain what it could possibly have in a normal world.
Honestly, that would be really cool and fun!!!
While this has obviously never been done before, there are a few categories that come close.
Namely: any combination of fsg, pogloot, and pogworld.
They're all different ways of optimizing rng, and it makes the run look closer to this than it does to a normal rsg run.
The wr is nowhere near this, because it doesn't use 1 shot, and there's still some navigation that needs to be done (obviously) but it's the best we're gonna get

When you Think about it, it would be even faster if when you exited out of the nether, your portal spawns not in the portal room but 1 Block away from that ender portal and with all eyes already

You can one shot the dragon, which is much faster than a 0 cycle. It is just a very difficult trick to pull off.
Actual run,start with the ruined portal you mentioned but then go in the nether and go in a ruined portal in the nether which leads you directly to the 12 eye stronghold thing,on the way you loot some bastion chest with the gold axe while the piglings give you pearls and collect the vines and in the end you use the arrow technique to kill the dragon and then go beat the game,I’m too lazy to do the calculations but I’m pretty sure a seed like this,in the 18 quadrillion seeds possibly not a single one would be like the seed mentioned in this comment

A way this could be optimised is by pearl hanging while you kill the stray blaze, which if the pearl takes 5 seconds to land after throwing, would save 4 seconds by your maths
