- I got out to test the NEW SPRO Flappin Frog 65. This is a cast and retrieve frog that's easy for beginners to use. The fish really liked it and I was able to capture some sweet blowups. However, I did have an issue with this frog that I'll discuss. Be sure to watch this video if you're thinking about picking up one of these frogs.

Boat fun for a change, but I like your content largely for the bank fishing aspect as so much of us are bank bound fishermen. Your commentary as you make the videos is really what makes it, how you explain what you are doing, where you are throwing, what you are catching on, size of fish, how hooked... etc as a stream discussion with the viewer as you are fishing. Makes it worthwhile watching you fish, other guys just seeing them catch with no thought process is worthless to me.

I remember that happening to my uncle in a canoe, my brother an I were kids sitting in the middle while my dad & uncle were paddling and his lure was just skipping in the water and a fish came right up out at it.

About 30% of my rods are from 13, the fate steel was a great purchase, and I've stress tested it. The omen panfish has been fun as well. They're well priced for the quality as well.

I like how you only do crazy hooksets when needed. Lots of other guys just do it for show.
The top water bite is on here too!!!! I was going tonight but I decided to go in the morning instead. Going with the Pop Max and a shellcracker pattern Popper from Academy Sports. Both have been my best producers this past 2 years. Also going to throw the Choppo early for the mean bites. There's been some big females in the shallows lately with some attitude. Missed some swatting at the bait then tried to follow up with a drop shot and that became a better technique. Thanks for sharing 👊👊👊

I’ve got a few of those 13 Fishing rods and I love them for the money ! I’ve got 1 I’ve been using for frogs this year paired with a Lews reel ( I forget what one ) but it’s a great combo ! Definitely going to grab a couple of those frogs !!
Just bought this frog yesterday. I can’t wait to try it out on my new frog setup. All the reviews on Tackle Warehouse mentioned the same thing about the weight. Hopefully some glue will do the trick 🤞

Hi Debo….great job as always. Time to update that chest camera with one that has horizon leveling. I personally use the DJI Action 2 which is so light I actually mount it on my hat. But GoPro has that feature also. Make the video much more enjoyable to watch when you are moving a lot. Just my two cents…love the video and info on that frog. I will be mending the weight in.

That weight needs to be attached to the hook. Maybe you can glue it but wonder how that plastic will react to the glue

My first flapping frog the weight fell out so I bought some more and immediately glued the weights. But in my experience, it still fishes more than just fine without the weight

Do not put mend it on it, the frog just falls apart to nothing. It eats it up

Sup debo. Great day. I have the same 'type' frog from monsterbass I'm waiting to use next time out, also from monsterbass a frog/toad that also has a whopper plopper tail with the legs? Can't remember name right now? Have you seen the one with whopper plopper tail? Boat fishing videos good to add to mix, like to see same lures from bank? I'd be curious if using Mend-IT would work/cooperate with the frog material. Mine melted in my tackle box due to the plastics not playing nice with each other.
I put mend it on one,and it just dissolved to nothing... don't try it

I'm not Debo, but to answer your question, no, usually floating lures like frogs are tied as is, no other hardware needed. Tight lines!
