  • Jimmy and Kim pull a fast one on the clerk at the Department of Building Safety by switching the blueprints.
    #BetterCallSaul #Blueprints #MothersDay
From Season 4, Episode 9 'Wiedersehen' - Jimmy and Kim unburden themselves, risking their relationship in the process; Nacho is forced to make the rounds with Lalo; Mike has cause to worry.
    Watch now!: play.google.com/store/tv/show...
Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Poor Shirley. An honest, hard working mother whose good nature and sense of civic duty was COMPLETELY taken advantage of by a couple of low-life, con-artist lawyers (with Jimmy we already knew his nature from Breaking Bad, but Kim proved herself to be that by the end of the series). Shirley even put her own job on the line by letting Kim switch the documents. This scene made me lose all respect for Kim.

If actors get Emmies for doing their job right, shouldn't there be awards for chefs or awards for janitors? Making awards for actors seem stupid in comparison...no one appreciated the cooks or bus drivers but the people who don't matter. Actors, historically the lowest job in society..and we worship them as heros

When you grow up and get smart you use your brain more and think for yourself instead of eating the spoon-fed bs. The smarter you get the bigger the words you use because it's natural to talk like this. At least you didn't think I was telling at you.
Most the time I talk it's to educate. You may shun this education but there will always be another one who agrees with me

@James Eppler maybe I came off as too confrontational in my first comment; I agree with most of what you're saying, but there's no point in being so mopey and pessimistic about it (especially in a completely unrelated comment). It comes off as preachy and brings everybody else down.
It's a part of life that everybody's accepted and won't change anytime soon, so there's not much point in complaining.
However, the difference between acting and cleaning is that acting is artistic, which means innovation can be made, and interesting things are done. That's why people are interested in acting rather than cleaning (or other mundane jobs). The same goes for cooking.
Also don't try to school me on "education" and "big words" before you look up what "connotation" means in the dictionary. Seriously, I get your point, but you lost me the moment you put yourself up on a pedestal as an "educator".

Because even though we know Kim's mom character isn't real she's believable. An overworked mom like that with an nonsupporting family isn't just likely, it's probable. It tugs on our emotional heartstrings as both audiences (us and the office clerk) get sucked into her story.

Damn, this scene hits so close for me being Bill. So believable scenario. I am younger childless brother, uncle to my little niece (mother being my sister). I try to help her as much as possible. AFAIK I never been grossly negligible, but I do so much clueless shit in regard to raising kid, ie she learned some swears from me when I slipped up, or giving her chocolate bar in evening, shortly before bed time: enter both sugared up and cranky tired, child sized missile flying around until 10PM. At least, I am learning on first mistake and sister is good sport about it :)

"Slow down I'm wearing flipflops" I know it isn't the point, but as a recently new flipflop wearer, I've found that you can move quite fast if you mimic astronauts on the moon.

Switch up to Tevas. Been wearing them for years. I’m either in my work boots, barefoot, or in them. They will last several years and you can do literally anything in them. You just need to wash them once a week or so. I keep an old toothbrush around to scrub them in the shower once in a while with a little soap.
Edit: I’m in my mid 40’s and I think I’m on my 4th pair now since my early 20’s. The quality these days isn’t quite what it used to be when I first bought them but they really are a decent set of footwear. Depending on the style you buy they’ll run you somewhere around $100-$120
