- The Ferrari 365 GTB4 "Daytona" Competizione Gr.4 is one of my favourite prancing horse cars. Not only for its fantastic shape, representative of the '70s and drawn by Leonardo Fioravanti but mainly for the incredible and lovely V12 engine sound and performances. We speak about the "classic front-engine Ferrari Granturismo", where each component is perfectly realized in its magnificence. The 4390cc power unit delivers 430hp at 7.800 rpm with powerful torque of 461Nm at 5.500 rpm. The performances are impressive, with a top speed of over 300km/h also achieved thanks to a weight of only 1.240Kgs. I have to thank Giallo Corsa's staff who allowed us to make this video. La Ferrari 365 GTB4 "Daytona" Competizione Gr.4 è una delle mie auto preferite del cavallino rampante. Non solo per il design fantastico, rappresentativo degli anni '70 e disegnato da Leonardo Fioravanti ma soprattutto per il sound incredibile del motore V12 aspirato. Parliamo della "classica Ferrari Granturismo a motore anteriore", dove ogni componente è perfettamente realizzato nella sua magnificenza. Il propulsore da 4390 cc eroga circa 440 CV a 7.800 giri/min con una potente coppia di 461 Nm a 5.500 giri/min. Le prestazioni sono impressionanti, con una velocità massima di oltre 300km/h raggiunta anche grazie ad un peso di soli 1.240Kg. Devo ringraziare lo staff di Giallo Corsa che ci ha permesso di realizzare questo video. Se le auto ti entusiasmano, soprattutto i gloriosi motori V12, alza il volume e goditi il Sound! This is why it’s hard for me to like modern motorsports. Some cars today might sound ok but nothing makes you feel the things this makes you feel.

What a beautiful shape and sound! Many of these cars in the USA lost their roofs during the 80s partially due to the TV show Miami Vice. The one on the program was a rebodied Corvette. I hate that many got butchered.
Unfortunately, some original Daytona Coupés have suffered the same fate even in Europe.

I likely still have the Road & Track magazine with the road test of this car from back when it first hit the streets. I remember thinking about how great it was that this car could, by finesse, be one of the fastest and best performing cars of the day. One of my few all time favorite cars. Thanks for sharing.

La 365 gtb/4 "Daytona" est une icône Ferrari et donc une icône Automobile. Quinze exemplaires en 3 séries de 5 exemplaires de la version compétition furent produits. L'une d'entre elles n'a jamais couru et était utilisé comme voiture de route... Merci.

Ciao Matteo, in primis ringrazio del "giro" cameracar onboard di questo fantastico mezzo, e sono pienamente d'accordo con te sul fatto che sia una delle più belle ma personalmente ho un debole per una sua sorella leggermente più anziana. Sicuramente non avrà la sua cavalleria ma in quanto a bellezza..... almeno x me, poi ognuno ha i suoi gusti. Alla prossima
Intendi la serie 250? Beh, quelle sono il meglio di sempre secondo me. E penso rimaranno tali, gli anni 50 e 60 sono stati davvero l'apoteosi per le vetture berlinette di Ferrari. Non è un caso che siano le più amate e quotate al mondo. Detto questo la Daytona è una splendida meraviglia degli anni 70 👍
@@Italiansupercarvideo Si proprio la serie 250. La 250 GTO è l' apoteosi proprio intoccabile, ma è proprio la 250 SWB con quella linea così aerodinamica e il passo corto che mi da la sensazione di auto divertente e dalla linea che x me è davvero unica

Was the driver under instruction ? I see the passenger giving hand signals ,especially after he rolled through turns with his foot on the clutch. I always wanted but even in the 80's when the values were really low i couldn't afford one and unrestored ones were pretty sad. Although i went to someones house 30 years ago to collect some stuff i had bought, and they had a spider up on blocks in the garage.....!
I go by heart, but I think it was the first time that the owner drove the Daytona on this track, and he indeed received some information from the co-driver.

Si, esattamente. Calcola che la pista non era in esclusiva ma si trattava di una giornata abbastanza trafficata di un normale trackday. Meglio non rischiare inutili contatti o manovre azzardate con altre auto.

Great car, but I cannot stand see it being driven with such a lack of skill.
We must remember that a lot of drivers are not all professional pilots, but there are also simple gentleman drivers. We must never be too strict or fussy, we must appreciate, like this owner, who has decided to use such an expensive and important car during a typical track day.

By the way, I do appreciate that he actually drives it and shows it to the world, instead of kept it in a garage.
