@Pierre Valer I must say, John Wick 3 was my favourite of all the episodes. It was so damn good! And Helle Berry's attack dogs. It was chilling to watch these functional predators! Mark Ducascos was also just brilliant! I just LOVE how he was so mesmirised by John Wick, and was just in awe of his skills, and always looked undisappointed all the time. So good!
What a gentleman Daniel Bernhardt is . This is one of my favorite interviews. Although the interview was about Mr. Bernhardt , the interviewed was very kind to keep the chat on and asking about Mr Adkins too (this is one thing we want too ) and keeping the conversation very interesting in a very humble way to tell us all his accomplishment. If we already liked this actor and martial artist, now we like him even more. Thanks, Mr. Adkins for bringing us this interview.
I've been a fan of Daniel since he did the Mortal Kombat series. I still rewatch it regularly, and he's a major highlight of the show. I'm so glad that he's had a successful career in Hollywood, on and off screen. What a great, talented person!
One of my most embarrassing childhood memories involved Daniel Bernhardt and my best friends goofy father. The production of Bloodsport 3 took place in the small town of Kandy in Sri Lanka. On a family day out, we attended a hotel where some of the cast and crew were staying. Me and my best mate LOVED all things martial arts, so, to see "the fighters" of this movie (the sequel to our favourite film of all time!!), chilling and playfighting by the pool WAS A TRIP... We were naturally too shy and reverently starstruck to say anything to them. Lo and behold, my friends dad singles out Danial Bernhardt, corners him by the tiki hut bar and chews his ear out for at least 15 minutes with some of the most excruciatingly dull banter you can imagine. Daniel is being courteous and respectful, but clearly pained by the tepidity of the chat. Eventually, my best friend's dad appears perplexed...looking Daniel dead in the eye..asks him "Sorry, are you not David Van Dan Lee?" ( an idiosyncratic mental fusion of Jean Claude Van Damme, David Bradley and Brandon Lee).... self concludes Daniel isnt who he thought he was....and walks off without a word. Daniel looks at me and my friend, with a "well, I'm sorry you have to deal with that" kind of expression, nods, excuses himself and leaves. Fucking mortified.

Too bad that one great martial arts actor alone wasn't enough to turn the show into something good. Still watched it back than as martial artist and mortal kombat fan xD ... and I seriously did and do not understand why they gave him the role of a maincharakter which did not appear in the games... he could have played quite some of the typical mk-characters instead.
@@jackmakmorn Yeah, you got right! Mortal Kombat Conquest was a great martial arts TV series, excpetially for the MORTAL KOMBAT fans! In my opinion Daniel Bernhardt caracter SIRO deserved to winning much more fights in this series but I know that main caracter was "The Great KUNG LAO". But guy who played him Paolo Montalban was a only actor, not martial artist. Every fight Kung Lao was dubbled by probably J.J. Perry, who played in this series Sub-Zero😃😃😃.

Bolo Yeung would be epic! Not much information on the guy, would love to hear more about his martial arts background.
Would be great, but there is one handicap... Such as language barrier, because Mr. Yeung not much of a fluent speaker in English. If I'm not wrong about it.
@@Fretboard_Frenzy You're right. Plus he's too old. Let the man just chill. I'd say getting Donnie Yen would be better
This guy is a legend. Both his fight with neo in reloaded and the red circle fight in John Wick, while short, are some of the most exciting and aesthetically pleasing in cinematic history.
What about gary daniels next guest he's so huge martial artiste too
He's on the next one
Daniel is an amazing guy, thank you for this Scott!
His really excellent fighter and very humble good actor very
One of the best interview from the series, you get the feeling of a buddy talk. Thanks for sharing!!
i am remember Mortal Kombat Conquest
Yes, and his 540 kick in Mortal Cambat!
Too bad that one great martial arts actor alone wasn't enough to turn the show into something good. Still watched it back than as martial artist and mortal kombat fan xD
... and I seriously did and do not understand why they gave him the role of a maincharakter which did not appear in the games... he could have played quite some of the typical mk-characters instead.
Perry, who played in this series Sub-Zero😃😃😃.
i have watched blood sport movies 1000s of times thanks to Scott and Daniel
He was great in Barry. One of the best episodes of TV.
When he talked about getting to use the nun-chucks, he was so excited, that he sounded totally Swiss all of a sudden.
Daniel Bernhardt is a beast! His participation in Barry was great, as was his iconic agent in Matrix reload, his participation in Jhon Wick, among many other films, always his high level as a martial artist adds a plus to his very good performances and films in which take action, it makes me happy to see that Daniel is recognized in this great interview and nothing more and nothing less than the great Boika! this is great ... thanks Scott 👍👊
Sir Daniel looks like young Sean Connery.
Younger Connery and older Gordon-Levitt! Combo
Good observation, man. I was sitting there the whole time wondering who he reminded me of.
I've noticed that too! Really, sir Sean Connery! And tall and more skinny Van Damme. But anyway, he is wonderful!
Yeah, I was thinking, I could see him as Bond, just from his looks!
Now that you mention it he really kinda is resembling the great sir Sean
Thanks Scott for putting Mr. Bernhard-T on my radar! Even though I'd watched a bunch of his stuff, I think I stupidly didn't connect that it was the same guy. Need to check out the 87Eleven short he did!
