Honestly, one of the best interviews that Mr. Adkins has put on his channel. Loved listening to JJ's insights into martial arts, action choreography, stuntwork, and directing. The behind the scenes stories were awesome as well! I can see why JJ got into this business, he's got a ton of energy. Totally hyped up after watching! Please bring him on again!
Ha, apologies for not mentioning this sooner, but thank you for the like, Mr. Adkins! Been meaning to say that content that you've been putting out over the past few months on UA-cam, whether on your channel or others, has been really great. Hope all is well!
One word truly encapsulates JJ Perry... HUMILITY!!! This is the most sincere, humble, and grateful man to come from the "tough guy" community I have ever seen!!! I am now a fan!

With a rare few exceptions like Seagal, the vast majority of the people he's interviewed for this series seem very sincere, humble and polite - I think the discipline and self knowledge required to really be a skilled martial artist plays a part in that.
i just watched Bloodsport 3 again. I'm not a TKD guy, but I recognized this style from JJ immediately. Too bad that his Army obligations kept him from being in Lionheart, but the man seems to be doing well :)
Scott Adkins is the best in any kinds of roles.. best fighter, best actor, best interviewer, best man of man .. He's awesome guy Love you Scott Adkins...
Great interview, Scott! I’ve been a stuntman for twenty years and have worked along side JJ many times. -Always looked up to him. Solid dude, for sure!
I didn't knew how much JJ has actually done for the action genre, or film in general. This guy knows his stuff! Great guest, had a ton of fun watching this interview.
Scott, you’re such a legend man. I wish nothing but the greatest for you. I love your humility and positive energy. I need to see you more on the big screen sir, you’re amazing.
I can't stop watching these interviews! I'm now seeing interviews from guys that I didn't know and I'm absolutely loving to learn from all these badasses!🤘
From the bottom of my heart thank you for sharing your stories. I've always been a martial arts and movie fan growing up because of movies like these. But after watching your interviews - I have even more respect for what you guys do. Thank you so much!
This is an amazing interview, Scott and it certainly deserves way more likes. Hearing JJ talk about his life experience is so interesting. I had no idea he worked on so many movies.
Although I don't have enough time to watch anything else like TV or any entertainment , I am so interested in watching your interviews , they are so COOL ! Good job Mr. Adkins !😍💖 Love you from Iran 🇮🇷🙈
I really like the way Scott and his guest discuss the camera angles and catching the real action. It truly impresses me this is the the best interview yet.
I've been watching this series. Not cuz of nostalgic feels or my curiosity about martial art and action cinema. But I suddenly realized that I also watching cuz these interviews are soooo wholesome and peaceful. I loved it. What gentlemen these guys are. True inspiration! Fighters ain't have to be jerks, being tough ain't suppose to be also being mean. And these gentlemen show that nicely.
He's so an awesome human being, the way he speaks like just getting started although he is one of the most complete stunt person in the industry. so with you Scott. lot's of love and respect for both of you.
Only ones that I don't expect is Li and JCVD. As you remember while working things out on Assassin Games with JCVD, Scott was not happy with JCVD behavior on Border Patrol (their first film), where JCVD reduced the final fight to a quick punch up where he won somehow when it was supposed to be a proper showdown. And while they have praised each other since Expendables 2 and Assassin Games, it never felt trully genuine. And even Michael Jai White mentioned on one of the episodes that JCVD did the same with his fight in UniSol 2. As for Jet Li, this one I just don't feel like it is happening. Happy to be wrong on these two.
Wow. This is great stuff. It's really great that you're talking to all these people, Scott. And bringing all of their hard work to the forefront for everyone to see and appreciate. Stunt people always seem like the unsung heroes. They deserve huge amounts of credit for all the awesome things we've seen over the years in all these films. Thanks. :)
I had no idea who JJ Perry was so I focused on watching the episodes with stars and directors who I was familiar with. After just finishing this video I can say this is my favorite episode so far! Super awesome interview. Loved, loved, loved every minute of it!
Without a doubt this is one of the most interesting interviews you'd done until now, if not the most interesting. Also he looks such like a great guy. For movie lovers this one is the best about filming. Thank you to both for bring us this piece of passion and humanity.
JJ Pery is very talented, I havent thought about him in a while, but he's so good at what he does. He killed it as Sub-Zero, in MK Conquest. Awesome interview, Scott.🔥🔥🔥👍👍 TERRANCE OUT
Lovely conversation between the two guys....loved to know a lot more about J.J.Perry....man behind scenes. I would love to see Vidyut Jamwal with Scott here....another great martial artist
Really grateful for making this one, Scott. I've been fan of JJ's work from the very 1995 and the info related to the man is so scarce. Such an inspiring person and martial artist. Defly would be glad to see him again on you channel. Was hoping to hear a bit more on MK from JJ, but oh well. Still hope you'll get involved in this francise too, eventually, my friend) From Russia with love and respect
This guy is a man of his word. He said he gots Scott Adkins and he did. In his directorial debut Scott is has been cast wow. JJ Loco Perry you had my small attention now you have my full attention
What I love about Scott is he is a true martial arts movie fanatic, we are of the same era and have basically the same taste in action films and Scott really knows his shit
Another great episode!!! Great stories, great interaction, great give and take between two awesome martial artists!!! Lots of informative and useful insights into martial arts stunts, fight scene coordination, and cinematography for budding martial arts film makers!!!
It's probably some of the most underrated Scott Adkins work but the fights in Ninja 2- Shadow of a Tear, specially the two last showdowns, are absolutely awesome. I remember seeing them and being completely blown away.
I as well as many others really look forward to Scott's' interviews. He's such a good listener too. Just got Legacy of Lies dvd today in the post. Very good movie!! Still like the Boyka movies and one of my favs is Avengement. Nothing ruins that guy not even napalm. lol He's brilliant and great in everything. Have almost all of his movies. Just ordered the Tournament didn't know about that one. 💪👊

JJ "Loco" Perry! It's gonna be awesome!
This series is amazing!
So glad Scott is doing this.
Glad to hear J.J. talk about doing the action for "Safe", which, to me, is easily Jason Statham's best flick
I'm glad I'm not the only one who believes this. The action scenes were out of this world in that one
@@lionclaw77 - ain't they? The scene with the same guy getting hit twice by the same car in the same shot . . . brilliant!
