You are changing my life. Thank you for everything. You are awesome. Wish you were closer. I'm in St. Louis. In your other video on using estrogen cream, I was blown away by you saying 2x a week, 1 gram to start. The Physician Assistant of my gynecologist said 1 gram daily for two weeks (then 3X a week thereafter if I was feeling better) for my thinned out, dried out, angry vagina (her words), and urgency to pee, which was not a UTI. She is the PA for my gynecologist. I started to feel crampy and have pain in the pubic area by day 2 - and it got worse the next day and then the next. It hurt to sit! I didn't have any symptoms like that prior to using the cream (by applicator). I'm only on day 4. I'm so glad to know what you said. It sets women up for failure to take it every day. I'm going to slow it down. Or maybe try Blissel estriol gel. I hear that has less side effects. Also, which podcast do you go in depth into vaginal moisturizers? There's so many options and I'd like to know the pros and cons of each. Again, wow. So glad you are in my life - at least online. ;) (Chrissy McClarren) P.S. Wish you'd write a book on all this. (I gave up on sex ten years ago due to the pain. I'm away of your book, You're Not Broken, but at this point, I need to heal from years of not tending the GSM. I need info on that, which I don't think your book has info on, right?) (P.P.S. And there is GSM and the effect of being on other medications - beta blockers, benzodiazepines, etc. Happen to have a podcast on that? I wish!)

Thank you and congratulations for your 300th episode 🎉💛
I started HRT in 2019, and the info that's finally becoming mainstream, in just the past year even, has got to be making a positive difference for women. Thanks to doctors like yourself and in the UK, journalists like Kate Muir and Liz Earle. I feel so optimistic 😀xx

Great podcast! Love all your videos! Congratulations on the new clinic- good for you for being brave and starting your own cash based business. This is the way it should be! So sick of insurance and the "system". We need more doctors like you!

9:14 So important to get the message out (thank you for sharing that!!!):
Testosterone given exogenously to women is not converted into estrogene (multiple papers show that)!
Can you put LINKS to those papers? I struggle to inform and convince so many of my family and friends 😢🤷🏻‍♀️.
    Best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪

Wow!! I have been listening to you for so long and you have changed my life - hearing all the research and fallacies I’ve grown up with. My parents have lived in Bellingham for the last 20 years!! What a fabulous place. Love this news that you’ll be there and I cannot wait to meet you in your new practice! So exciting!

Love your podcasts and am applying your info and sharing your podcasts with my providers here at Stormont Vail in Topeka, KS. Don't feel bad--your influence is spreading. I'm really doing my own N of 1 "study" on my HRT adventure using info from you and Dr. Felice Gersh. You're giving me the basis for requesting what probably would be flat-out denied for HRT. Many thanks! For your work and humor!

Oh gosh yes please come here, show the M factor & do a talk!!! I’m young surgical menopause & there are hardly any providers near me that will talk about HRT let alone script it. It’s so frustrating & sad. No problem taking out all my lady parts but now no one knows how to treat me nor wants to script HRT.

Always good information. Thank you! Is esterified estrogens methyl testosterone ok to take? My gyno prescribed but I haven’t picked up the medication. Not sure if I should take it or not

Kelly, I love your "rant" 😅 about "living wages" for all the people needed to keep a medical business running! 💪🙏👍 So right in saying so! After all, medicine is a very political issue... 💕♀️

How long will it take estrogen cream to stop my urinary symptoms. I have felt like a constant UTI with pressure and pain, no burning when I pee, for two months. All came around the same time as BV. Started estrogen cream nightly 2.5 weeks ago, but no relief with urinary symptoms yet. I have an appt with my menopause doctor in two days. Wondering about adding in progesterone and if that helps with the urinary symptoms.

Dr Casperson, I am premenopausal woman on hrt.
Can i take testesteron capsul ?
My doctor doesn"t prescribe it. So I thought i just get oral testestrone supplements which are sold in gyms.
    Please advise!

    • @nicolemerz1731
      @nicolemerz1731 11 днів тому

@@PJ-wt2zo Surely too high of a dose as it is normally for MEN. Women just need a tenth of the male dose. Men in gyms often overdose, so be careful.

@nicolemerz1731 thank you for reply. What about making each tablet to 10 parts ? To just get 5_10 milligram daily.

So really trans men should get a low dose of estrogen supplementation if the testosterone does not convert any of it...
