@@alterveli i'd like to imagine that, you have the menu with the additional option of contacting jod. jod now has a personality, whereas you have the menu options if you stay still for even a second, you start moving on your own generally towards where your meant to go, but a god can't know all, and doesn't know where to go all the time. all of the points in time where you should speak aren't there, and instead are engaged by niko. except for the first one, where niko engages it only if you decide not to speak up the ending dependent on god's wisdom (non-solstice, obviously) is dependent on their relationship, and you have to find a way to contact god to engage solstice, from your own place. it wouldn't stand out, because if it DID, why would you want to go back? the meta elements are shifted in perspective, where the camera instead turns to face the fourth wall, and you watch them attempt to figure it out (note, niko would actually be visible for this interaction, think of it as a window instead of a screen) now, this probably wouldn't be very entertaining in actual game format. but it's fun to speculate
I understand the pallet-swaps were meant to look cursed, (and the Alula one definitely is) but Proto and Prophet-Bot actually manage to work and the Niko ain't to terrible either.
Alrighty, here we go: ShotOne, a game where Okin, a bird child, must traverse through a dangerous world with the goal of bringing the Moon from it's prison in the Tower and take it to the end of the world. They travel through disturbed red foliage, a green wasteland and then finally a blue city surrounding the reat of the world. Okin will meet many charton their journey: a clutterbrained scientist living in the edge of the world, her robot companion she left behind in the city, a teenage cat child named Alula and their young brother Calumus, a cynical prophet and a broken chessmaster. Eventually, Okin will meet three others, a stupid young robot prophet, a random homeless kid and a fox that can somehow drive a tank, to aid them on their final quest, to destroy bith the world and Okin themselves. This took ages.
The title of this new game actually has a hidden meaning During the middle, our protagonist shoots somebody because they try to steal the moon. (Aka, a dim lightbulb ._.)
