Bought 3 dozen of the blue swish and have been blown away how this ball reacts.I’m a 7 handicap and have been with titleist pro v and Callaway chrome but gave these a shot because my swing speed has slowed to around 97 with a Driver, well I’ve been shocked at the performance of this ball.If you’re under a 100 swing speed with a Driver give it a shot !
I thoroughly enjoyed this video and I agree totally with your assessment. Im 60 years old and FEEL is important to me because Im starting to get a bit arthritic in the hands. So, I tried this against the Chrome Tour and a 2023 Chrome Soft. Off the tee they feel the same, and the distance is remarkably spot on. On the green, I thought they felt better off the putter, and actually rolled better and farther.
I’m a low 80’s occasional 70’s player and have been playing the Chrome Soft the past two years. I saw another review of this ball recently and it gave it a chance in the yellow. This is the best $25 a dozen ball I’ve ever played. It’s long and straight and feels fantastic. It doesn’t spin much on shots into the green, but it checks up well and stops. I was surprised at how long this ball is off the driver. Not a fan of the splash colors but the yellow is a nice sheen and eye friendly. Nice review 👏
@@TigerMarine62 locally, I can get just about every top ball made for $25 a dozen, he sales no shipping he had the ERC ball 10 dozen for $200 bucks. Just do a Google search, they have a bunch of seller's that ship, same price. Brand new.
I just gamed these last weekend. I was really impressed with how they performed. I usually hit 3-piece ball. I was expecting to lose something, but it was pleasantly surprised that nothing dropped off. I normally hit TaylorMade Tour Response. I could not tell the different and at $1.00 less per ball it was totally worth it. I will buy them again.
Excellent review, Hannah. I currently use the Distance+, but I want to try this model. What I learned from the review is that the distance and stopping power come from launch height, as the ball can cover more ground and has a steeper landing angle... subscribed!
My friend just happened to have these today and I tried them out and i was amazed. I was surprised however at your assessment that they didn’t feel as soft as you would have thought. For me, I play a TP5x, and hitting these balls was a night and day difference. Completely different and ultra soft feel. Around the greens for me was a dream, both chipping and putting. But maybe because I’m used to how hard the TP5x balls are. Thoroughly enjoyed the review. Definitely going to keep playing around with this ball.
Played with these bad boys today and was very impressed. Definitely had a higher ball flight and didn’t seem to lose any distance at all. Feel lovely and soft off the putter face which is how I like it. Shot 4 under my handicap so they r definitely staying for now!! 😂
I had the chance to test the SpeedSoft this week Hannah. After a couple of rounds I gotta say I love them. I bought some of the blue ink ones. Think I might get some of the solid yellow next. No wonder this ball has done so well in the reviews. This ones a winner. Joe. P.S. I had the opportunity to try the ball on a short par 3 island hole . I used a 9 Wood and stuck it to the left side of the pin. It checked up really nice. It's spin elevates the shot well. Other similar shots checked up well too. This will be a premium ball for slow to mid swing speed players. I call it a premium ball in disguise. At the very least its the premium ball in its price category.
I’m a 70 year old 13 handicapper. I’ve been playing TP5’s and thought I’ve give these a shot. This ball has great feel with my average club head speed. I’m hooked!
I used to play a ton of golf (worked at a course) I have played about every ball out there, i really like the wilson duo spin and this ball, these are my go to balls.
Recently bought some. Love em, even playing with em on Yorkshire sodden fairways. Ha ha. Can’t wait to use em when I’ll actually get some roll out on the fairways!! As ever, a great review Hannah. I need to book a lesson with you!!
Played my first round today at Shiskine GC, my WHS is 15, the ball flew higher than my usual ball (Taylor Made Tour Response), kept very straight into the wind, I managed to get some reasonable spin and stop on the greens and liked the feel off my putter. So overall very impressed and managed not to lose a ball...
Great video and great timing. I'd been curious about these balls and just bought a dozen today. I'm a high handicapper that likes hitting the TP5s, so thinking these might have a similar feel and be a lot cheaper. I did putt comparing this, the TM Distance and the TP5, and thought what you mentioned - that this ball feels almost as soft as the TP5 putting. The Distance definitely more clicky. But sorry, I got the plain white version : )
Great Video Hannah. I did buy dozens of Pink(me) and green(for husband). Just played first game of the year (Canada) and I absolutely love this ball. Now I did get a lot of roll (spring conditions). I am a 18 handicap and this is my game ball now. And I did get some comments about what I did to the ball. lol
I think the only complaint that I would have with these would be the black markings throughout the color swatches. I think it would make putting alignment and seeing how your roll was a little more difficult seeing multiple black marks noving at once.
great video and review. good thing i am married. this is my new ball of choice.. they fly straight and long. taylor made put alot of research into this and nailed it.
Hey Hannah, thanks for the review. I may order a box just to try them out - they look pretty cool. I normally play the TaylorMade Tour Response (10 handicap) or the Maxfli Tour S. Did you change your putting grip -- saw a video of you awhile back and you had a pretty bizarre grip 🙂
Thanks for the review. I was thinking about using this ball as some of the better players at my club are using them. After this review, I will definitely use them for my next game.
I love these balls for the money unmatched really, I swing at 115-120 and these actually help, sometimes I get too much spin and the ball balloons up in the wind, irons especially. But also the driver drop off is at most 10 yards, but tends to fly very straight.
Great video! I like the high handicap focus of it. I'm a 17 handicap and dont like to spend a lot on golf balls. I just bought two boxes of Supersofts (white) on Monday because I played Supersofts in high-vis green all winter. Will definitely try these out though when its time to restock. Do you know if they're planning a high-vis offering or does the paint decoration provide it? I do like a more simple pattern; less distracting. Tracking they offer these in plain white. Thanks!

Thx. But wouldn't it be better to test with a mid to high handicapper? Those swingspeeds are much lower and I think the ball is even better than. It has a low compression (50 I think I saw?). I am using wilson duo or callaway supersoft depending on price actions. As I'm feeding the fish to many times I need the best prices :D. I will check these out as well. Playing Taylormade irons so a good TM ball would fit perfect.
Only ball I’ve noticed feeling good or different off the driver is the Bridgestone e12 contact. Every player is different but for me it flys straighter and is pretty forgiving with nice feel around the greens.
I always get more spin off of softer balls , usually equates to more curve than expected , i did like the old 60 compression ball fron taylormade but i think in the fifties is a step to far
Be great to see a head to head with these & the very similar Callaway supersoft splatter ones. I like a softer ball and am thinking of switching because the price is much more affordable than Prov’s etc 👍🏻

Soft balls are great for low swing speed. Everyone with a golf swing speed lower than 90mph will go farther and straighter with a low compressed ball than with a firm one.
i also have a high ball speed and find them exceptional off the driver with no loss of distance. Give them a try mate ,you can swing slower with more control and hit more greens. its a awesome ball for the price. you will be surprised.
A low-compression ball can travel farther for a slow swing. It is easier to compress and, therefore, creating more coefficient of restitution (COR). Such a ball is MUCH better for slower swingers than a tour ball, because that player cannot access the layers (features) of that ball. Stop playing tour balls!
I hate to spoil the party but your average golfer is going to shoot 90 with a range ball or a ProV1x. It makes absolutely no difference at that performance level. Those players rarely hit fairways and greens and are lucky to extricate themselves from bunkers and avoid chili dipping chip shots and three putting greens.
